- I'm not a mechanic but decided to see if I could change the throttle body and the throttle position sensor on my V6 156.
The car nad an intermittent fault which was either the potentiometer, wiring to the multi-plug or the throttle position sensor which is attached to the throttle body.
How do I get on?

Hi , just found your channel and subscribed. I have recently bought a 2001 156 v6 sportwagon. In the process of doing some long needed maintenance as poor girl has been unloved for many years. Cambelt, water pump tensioners etc just done and some new exhaust parts being fitted this week. Lovely car to drive and I've driven many over the years from 1977. Looking forward to viewing more of your vids.
Brilliant video! The gearchange on my GT needs work and had heard that 'top hats' were needed (no nothing to do with Slash), may get that sorted during my service this year.
grazie, grazie, grazie. mi sei stato molto utile. grazie!
love your 156 well done on your fix, i have a GTV TS how does the 156 handle compared to the Twinnie GTV
Thanks for the message, it's quite different with the weight of the V6 engine over the front wheels. You can really throw the GTV around corners, less so with the 156 but on the motorway it's in a class of its own.
im looking for another GTV or 156 in the spring once i have recovered from my new hip op enjoy the channel keep it up
Hey Boss!🙋🏽♂️
been thinking about buying a 156 2.5 v6, the interior is the only thing that helds me back, is there any way to put a modern screen in there?
When you say a modern screen are you referring to a Audio system, if so you can. If it's the dash gages, yes but it depends on how much money you want to spend. I wouldn't advise it, it's about the engine and the emotion you get from it.
