I love that the Guru Christmas Special is a thing. Last year's one in Limerick was class and this is just as good. Thanks for all the videos this year, Slainte lad!
YESSS!!!!! this is what im talking about guru. These last two videos are sweeeeet! going to the neighborhood pubs that represent the heart and soul of Ireland. what you are doing now is what makes me want to visit as soon as possible. so thank you, merry christmas be safe. and hopefully when im there next year I'll bump into you, first round is on me. Slainte ☘☘☘
Happy Christmas to you and Mrs Guru we just love your channel and a Happy New Year.We love Ireland and Irelands. We always want a Guinness after watching.look forward to seeing you in the NewYear .🎅🎅🤶🤶🤶🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🤶🥳🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪☮️☮️☮️
Mr & Mrs Guru Happy Christmas , was only looking at the pubs in Lahinch yesterday for my spring road trip you have inspired !!!.... looking forward to your 2023 reviews .
I agree with Daragh on all his shows, about Stchick, I never enjoyed a pint that does not have that creaminess, and feathering down the pint... and I have been drinking guinness for 40 years.. but I always enjoy a cooler pint, but not freezing, which I never tasted, but never warm... the only warm pints i have drunk have been sitting behind the bar for 1-2 minutes waiting for a buyer..lol
The Irish stout Guinness, Ms. Roarty says, should be served at precisely 42.8 degrees, according to the company's quality-control teams, but no warmer than 50 degrees. At a higher temperature, “the creamy tan head will turn yellow and flatten,” she says. 🍺 ✌🏻🧔🏻✌🏻
I'm from Clare, generally €5 or under outside Ennis which is grand, most pubs in Ennis are €5.50/70. The Guinness here in general is spectacular, as a tourist destination pubs put great effort into making sure quality is good. Some recommendations PJ Kelly's, Lucas's (both Ennis) Keating's (Kilbaha) Clearys (Miltown Malbay - especially during Willie Clancy week)
Bizarre interaction in that final pub. The lad sounded over the moon to see/meet you and you looked at him like you were being approached by a drunken hobo. Pints looked good though 😂
Things have moved on when your taking about the roasting , Jesus , hope your not going to go all professional now 😂any how happy Christmas from up north ☃️
The cornerstone has the best pint in lahinch I’d say. Either that or surprisingly the Atlantic. A shame u didn’t go to either of them. U did the typical tourist spots 😂 or better still, go to inagh down the road. Guinness is well better
You had a pint that had great shtick then you had one that had less shtick but you said it could be creamier. Maybe the shtick staying on the glass is wasted cream and comes down to bad glass prep? You'd want to be drinking all the cream surely and it would make for the creamiest pint.
I think the concept of the shtick is overrated to be honest. I work in a pub and even after polishing glasses to the point that they're pristine I can't seem to get any shtick but the kegs are underneath the counter and the pour is good. The glasses are mostly 2022. Might there be another problem?
@@breacadh.lae.na.saoirse from my experience they need to be washed with nothing but hot water, tea towels as well. no detergents at all. You must also avoid fat, grease, dairy, oil or anything like that going into the washer.

Merry Christmas Guru! My pants get a little tighter every time I see that Domeage!
We need a 12 pubs christmas special.....
Merry Christmas guruuuuuu
From my experience over a few visits, the 'owner' of the Nineteen is a bit of a ****. Keep up the vid's! Class as always. Happy Christmas GG.
If you're ever back, the pints in the golf clubhouse are actually stellar. Amazing views.
Brian Finnegan blaring tunes in the background should always be the scenario! 🎶
"All your missing is the bodhran" 🤣🤣🤣
When in co Clare, get yourself to Keating's bar in Kilbaha. Excellent pint of Guinness.
Merry Shtickmas!
Are you one of the Clancy Brothers? Great compliment.
Some good pints in Bittles Belfast yesterday 👌
roasted barley flavour...that's a good thing mate ! Was that old Sinead O'C in the 19th ? Maybe too much Powers today...on top of all that herbal🚬
Amazing lacing in these pints! Ireland is different class compared to the UK 🖤🤍
Great video
That last pint was a 7.3 for sure
Worked in a gaa club pooring pints in 2007 and a remember a Guinness was 3.40
You’ve got to try Fennessy’s in Limerick. Unbelievable Pint of Guinness
When you coming to Edinburgh
He did about a year or so ago 👍

So is €5 a sad day in Clare? Or does it have to go over the €5?

I must do better
That's just the guru isn't the most natural lad to interact with.
Will you do a best Guinness in the uk and Scotland?
He has done that
Guinness is def no 1. But have you tried the €3.55 pint of Beamish in Weatherspoons in Blanch?
Weatherspoons jaysus.
LOVE
Hey Guru… what’s your name?
Can I suggest a Q & A ?
Your viewers would love that
Damn. I thought we might get a look at the Mrs.
Do you play golf Daragh? Just clocking the Druids jacket
about twice a month
€5 is shocking and too easily accepted now...
€5 is saucy enough for Clare but I suppose it’s a touristy destination.
Have you ever Guinness drunk drove🤣

Dead right Tasty, the Guinness is perfect in the Atlantic. Food was great also.
When you are on a proper session with the lads do you drink Guinness? Or you on other drinks?
Luckily haven't got sick of Guinness yet so I'd shtick to it
@@daraghcurran hahaha that’s hardcore you keep to that all night. How many can you sink per night?
Would love a video of you sinking pints seeing how many you can do! You could do Guinness tours with people, I’d pay good money for that

Christmas pints taste better
Why not go to ennistymon and Guinness drink it's literally a piss up the road🤣
Your best going to the location your going and asking the locals where the best pint is rather using social media.

I don't wash them so I don't know. Is there a recommended brand so I can recommend it to manager?

Lahinch is great. Just don't eat at Kenny/s. You might get sick like we did.
