I had a test drive with this car. After it, I asked the advisor where the turbo button was, because I would like to ride again with it turned on. Before, I drove a Renault Megane and Opel Astra and there the turbo is really felt. The Corolla turbo is in the very light version and the torque 185 Nm is a really sad joke. This car could've conquered the car market, instead, Toyota just disappointed. The engine and transmission is so disappointing. My 18 year old Audi does much better, and it burns less than a litre more. Toyotas that are sold in EU are pile of hugely overpriced garbage. I understand that they have to follow the guidelines, still that's not an excuse, considering this 1.2 engine burns over 7l per 100km which is nothing to get exited by.
