Really appreciate this post. I live in Sioux Falls SD. Moved from Minnesota, from a rural town of 1100 and its typical of many non free states. We moved because of a 10 year plan fell apart as I wanted to enter Seminary, decided to move anyway… Red states may not mean free, etc. Freedom in my experience is directly reciprocal to the degree within a Faith with God in Christ. Many in rural areas sanction people based belief systems. The big city of Sioux Falls has many of the infrastructure that is reminiscent of Minnesota and may feel like California until the snow shoveling starts… 😊
Many LCMS congregations were slow to reopen, make elders feel uncomfortable when trying to be responsible to their assigned part of the congregation.
We must be faithful whatever season is required in the witness.

Good video Pastor, I’m a fan of John Lovell. He is a genuine man with good intentions and spreads his message well. Been following for a year or so. I do pray The Holy Spirit would guide him out of his decision theology, I’d imagine he’s caught up in those rapture beliefs as well, pun intended haha.
Perhaps he may find this video and channel. Gotta be some faithful LCMS churches in Georgia.

How do we make change if we are not there ? How much can we prep before it becomes unbelief ?
Leaving the city makes them worst. How often do the papist abandon the city? This is not the same as when they forced Lutheran's to become Calvinists.
We don't know what tyranny is. We have never had it wish as the church in Russia, laos, Germany during WW2, Japan before modernization, Vietnam. Rome. Didn't always run away stood their ground for the Faith.
Even at our most chaotic it has been short term and never the same scale. La and oc have large pockets of faithful Christians it's insane to have them all leave. They need to stay and continue growing and many are. Also I'm not worried about the apocalypse. Even if it happens and American society is destroyed I wouldn't last long without doctors and modern medicine
