Ravenfall and Small Spaces are on my fall tbr too! 🍂 Howliday Inn is such a good installment in the series! I know you generally dont use them but the audiobook is great and has a bunch of different accents. Hope you enjoy the Wayward Children series! 🎃
I do use audiobooks when I drive to work or go for walks. I'm def. going to have to try to get some of these in audio to get through more, and I think Bunnicula would be perfect for me since my brain has a hard time listening sometimes. Ravenfall and small spaces look perfect for sept/oct!
Small Spaces is so fun!! Ahhh!! I LOVE the Woman in Black book! The movie is okay 😂 I remember my little brother was terrified of it when he was little haha Happy fall reading! 🎃🎃🎃
I love how many of these were from book subscriptions lol! So many books I honestly don’t even remember what you showed now that the video is over… oh wait! Spooksville! That’s Christopher pikes middle grade series from the 90’s! Loved all the children’s books!
You know I love my book subs! I didn't realize Christopher Pike had a middle grade series. I only knew of the YA books I grew up with. This should be fun to check out!
I love that you have a variety of books . I am a mood reader and this was a such a fun video for me. I always learn something new 😊 Gosh I love love a painted side editions . You always have the best looking books and of course the stories are the coolest . The Raven Fall is super cute !
I agree, it seems like in a lot of camping movies, it seems fairly cool out at night. Writing to your favourite cryptid sounds like such a cute idea. Howliday Inn! The Book Eaters sounds familiar, love the cover and those page edges. They Are Cursed Like You looks awesome! I'm pretty sure I said something about Honey Witch in a previous video, but wow beautiful. Spook Night cover 😍 I'm planning to read The Woman in Black this year, the Hammer film is pretty creepy.
I've heard great things about both the book and movie for Woman in black, so I hope it is a favorite of mine as well! I just started Book Eaters, and maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, but they kind of come across as vampires so far. Might fit into Vamptember!
Wow I love the variety of these books on your tbr ❤🎉 so many incredible things to choose from during the season! I hope you have a great reading season 📚🍁
We love a ✨pile of possibilities✨ Yess can't wait to hear your thoughts on How Can I Help You 👀👀 Oh my I'm reading Brainwyrms right now and it's... wild
Not usually one for witch books but "They are cursed like you" has me very much intrigued with that cover and that it's not a cozy witch story (they all seem to be cozy ☹) but darker story. Maybe I'll get that one. Movies: definitely "Trick'r'Treat" for a fantastic Halloween watch. And if you like Slashers and found footage, give "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon" a try, it's a very underrated imho and has great fall vibes (the showdown is on on apple orchard).
You have such a good point. Why are all witches made to be cozy? Have you read Slewfoot? it has more vengeful witch action. Thanks for the movie recs - I will check it out!
I’m always so amazed at how many books people own! It’s so smart to shop your own shelves. Small Spaces is such a cute series 🥰 and I read All Hallows last Halloween… don’t expect too much horror with that one 😬 I’m so curious to know your thoughts on that one but I’m think I have an idea based on what I know about your reading tastes. We shall see!! 👻
yeah, it is a little embarrassing how many I have....but not enough to make me stop buying more 🙃 I've heard some people that LOVED all hallows....and then those that were super let down. I need to be quick on the DNF this season if I want to get to a good amount of these books!
I would listen to the T.L. Huchu books just for the Scottish accent. I like The Wayward Children series. Fun, cozy, portal fantasy vibes. I might just start the whole series over and catch up 👀 You can’t pass up the cover of Spook Night. You have so many pretty books to choose from! 🎃🔥
@@Kritz_Reads I see the first 3 books in the series on audio through Harris County Library on Libby if you really wanted the audio 👀 they’ll give you a free card online.
I picked up a copy of They Are Cursed Like You last year but haven't read it yet! It sounds really good though. I love The Woman in Black! The movie with Daniel Radcliffe is pretty fun but if you are okay with a slow burn then I recommend tracking down the 80s film adaptation too!
Can it please be fall pleaseeee. I'm hoping to read Small Spaces this October 🎉 Monster Sitter looks amazing that coverrrrrr. May have to add Ravenfall to my potential tbr list. Dear Mothman is a wonderful book- very heartfelt
today it was gloomy and rainy and very FALL and I was loving it! There are SO many I want to get to in such a short time, I hope I can make a decent dent in this pile!
Great video. It's impressive how open-minded you are as a reader: middle grade, YA, and adult. Well done! I haven't read any of the books you talked about, but Brainwormys is on my TBR (soon). I had the same reaction to Elizabeth Hand's latest. I was looking forward to it but then was kept away by te underwhelming reviews. I look forward to your take on it if you get to it. Good luck.
I seem to enjoy middle grade more than YA, because the characters seem more mature for some reason. I will have to give that Elizabeth Hand book a chance, but I may be quick to DNF if I'm not into it.
The Woman in Black is such an excellent atmospheric ghost story. I hope you manage to get to it. Low expectations is the way to go with The Haunting on the Hill, I'm sorry to say.
Legacy Witches is SOOO good! It has such a cozy vibe, and the character work is perfect. I desperately need the 3rd book to come out.
oooh, glad to hear you enjoyed it. I didn't realize it was a series!

Happy fall reading! 🎃🎃🎃
why do I get the feeling that you further tortured your brother by pretending to be the woman in black ? Not that I don't approve.
I really love the cover and idea of dear mothman! It sounds so sweet 🥹
it really does! I hope I can finally get to that one

I'm trying to branch out more and not JUST read horror. I'm also a mood reader at heart, so having a bunch of possibilities helps!

thanks! I'm really hoping to get out of my horror comfort zone and read some other things this season
We love a ✨pile of possibilities✨
Yess can't wait to hear your thoughts on How Can I Help You 👀👀
Oh my I'm reading Brainwyrms right now and it's... wild
I feel like Allison Rumfit's writing is going to be gritty with a touch of gross just from the covers. I hope to get to how can I help you next week!
Amazing vibes for your autumn TBR! Looks like you’ll have some awesome sounding books to pick from. I still haven’t gotten to Thistlefoot either…oops.
kinda looks like it could fit for week of weird!
@@Kritz_Reads for sure!

I really want to read Heads Will Roll. The Woman in Black is so good and creepy. I hope you love it. So many great possibilities for spooky season!
I've had so many tell me that the woman in black is so good that I think I keep holding back on reading it to make it last longer.
I’m always so amazed at how many books people own! It’s so smart to shop your own shelves.

I couldn't find the other T.L. Huchu on everand or libby, so I may end up reading with my eyeballs. I can still hear her "voice" in my head though.

lol, since we usually agree on books....(throws haunting on the hill right in the trash). I'll give it a shot....but might be quick to DNF
What are the chances that you want to read All Hallows? Last year I didn't have time to read it, so I'm going to read it for September.
I think I'm going to aim to read it in october so I can get some fall reads in before the spooky stuff!
