- It's a bit early but I'm making some early character creation decisions for my Rook in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Also, I was wrong about Dragon Age 2's character selection screen, I was thinking of the murals between events.

It’s a lot of crazy news about Veilguard now, I love dragon age series and I hope this game comes out to be good , let’s wait on release for now 😊
1. elve male crow
2. human shadow dragon evoker(mage)
3. Grey warden
4. Lord of Fortunes
The second most interesting to me are the Lord of Fortunes.
1. elven male crow
2. elven female crow
3. human male shadow dragon
4. human female shadow dragon
@@ethangraham6035 elves getting a lot of love.
Elven. Possibly Veil Jumper or the mourn watch.
Thinking of doing spellblade class. So will be a mage.
Romance between Hardin, or Bellara
Nice, out of the few people I know, none are going Mourn Watch, nice to see it getting some love.
I imagine that regarding the environmental thing, you won't know ahead of time what you will encounter. If you come upon a certain need, it would be highly inconvenient to have to go back to a place where you can change companions and then go back to where you were. That would be super irritating.
Oh for sure, I was thinking of it as more for special areas dedicated to that companion's ability, optional secrets or treasures. But yeah, getting stuck during a main quest or main path exploration would be irritating.
I can't wait for this game I am replaying dragon age inquisition and I am super ready for something new
I'm planning on replaying Inquisition as well, just want to finish up a few other games first.
@JustAGamerInc just know hinterland is a long part to grind though
@@livewirecomiccast6472 Yeah for sure, during my last playthrough I tried to streamline my way through it, but even then, you still get bogged down a bit. Thankfully I'm going to cheese a bunch of stuff by using the golden nug. I'll probably use the infinite money glitch too cause no one's got time for that.
I'm guessing you play on a harder difficulty? On a casual difficulty you should be able to do whatever you like. I'm wondering how difficult it might be to choose one class and have a group that isn't the usual balance of at least one rogue, warrior and mage. I know they've said you do whatever you want, but at harder difficulties that could be challenging.
I'm trying everything, eventually. Luckily, Dragon Age has been very good at keeping a high level of replay value. I do like that they are using all of the companions for specific quests. I love getting to hear each of the companion's dialog for all kinds of situations. I have a feeling everyone will find something they prefer along the way.
Less than a month and a half away now. I do hope to see some more details before the game arrives. I doubt there is going to be a character creation release before game comes out. It's no big deal. It's fun creating one, even if you're like me and bad at making them.
I tend to play on normal or the one above normal first I dont jump into nightmare until I've had some time. But honestly it's more likely that I just sucked at those games 😆
IGN's mage gameplay showed their mage with Harding and Neve, no tank, so maybe that's why it looked so tough.
I'm also terrible at character creators, they always come out looking a bit deformed lol. If things get too bad I'll probably just follow someone's beautiful or handsome Rook character creation walkthrough and copy that.
DA origin, sword shield pretty boring but dual sword warrior is fun. DA2, warrior feels slightly better. Inquisition, champion warrior most fun cuz theyre tanky and have ability to keep increasing dmg. Templar and reaver have ability to heal on their own. Really good if play on Nightmare all trials.
Awesome, maybe I'll try it out when I replay Inquisition.
you can play and access the antivan crow duelist abilities without actually being a crow.
Oh, I know, apologies if I didn't explain it right. I was referring to the bonuses you apparently get from the Antivan Crows factions when choosing the duelist specialization. All the factions give bonuses to the specializations tied to them, I was trying to say that since I'm leaning towards the duelist specialization anyway, I might as well get the bonuses for being a Antivan Crow.
@@JustAGamerInc ah sorry, it sounded like you thought the abilities were faction specific
@@MammothMorals No worries, I'm not a very eloquent person when it come to speaking, so I tend to misspeak or confuse words. It's one of the reasons I make videos, trying to learn and practice speaking better.
@@JustAGamerInc no worries man. great video btw
Hinterland dlc confirmed. Jk lol
Lol, it would be funny if we go back there in the game, but it's only a small shop area.
Show me this at 18:39 only and ask me what type of game that will be... Def not dragon age. For me it is so sad in which direction the artstyle etc went (generic highpolished comic look). I mean didnt like it in dai also but it looks like it got worser (and only two companions...). Now only a really interesting story and "memberberries" of DA could convince me to play it (and if not maybe sooner or later when ea throw it at you with high discount).
Sorry if this is too negative because you wanna just talk about character creation
No worries, I completely understand, in all my previous DAV videos I have made no attempts to hide my dislike of the new art style as well. It looks to cartoony or Fortnite-ish to me and doesnt seem to fit the vibe of Dragon Age. Inquisition's art style at the least seem to fit the dark fantasy aesthetic, at least to me.
Other upcoming Chinese and Japanese titles making these characters look terrible in my opinion.
For me it's the art style, graphically the game looks great, but the art style really isn't doing some of the character models any favors.
@JustAGamerInc The outfits and designs just look awful in an attempt to be more diverse and inclusive. They literally race swapped the main character and his love interest for the sake of DEI while promoting the game by making every character ✨️pansexual✨️. As a gamer, I'm sick of this crap.
@@JustAGamerInc Sweet Baby Inc. Is confirmed to be overseeing this production. A company that claims it's their mission to "bully and threaten companies if they don't get what they want." I can tell you're a Dragon Age fan, but it might not be what you think.
No sweet baby inc was not involved with DAV, bioware cut ties with them 3 years ago. Also the only reason they made the characters pansexual was so the player could have more romance options
