Are the russians calling the plane Chaika or Seagull or the engine? I always thought the I-153 and the I-16 were called that.
i185 is essentially i16
+amf0x I-153 was called Chaika (because it looked like it), I-16 was called Ishak ((donkey) because it was useless). I-185 was called none, because it was just a prototype
1973honza I personally view them as evolutions if the same design
+amf0x I'm not sure if they do any checks on what they talk about here. So many errors or nonsense said in these vids. It's a shame because they could be very educational. You know, should take some notes from Chieftains Hatch :p

I got the A20 G to 9 kilometers up before flat spinning. In 6 minutes.

The cheeki german rocket plane can get to 12-16+ kilometers depending on pilot skill.

I always enjoy flying this plane, great fun to play. Solid weapon platform with decent speed and other characteristics
This plane is great but prop battles at this tier force you to climb up to 8k somethimes and battles can last about 40 minutes maybeless maybe more, anyways if the plane is used right it becomes a killing machine. 10/10 IGN

I-185's free food for 109's and Spacefires.
I actually needed to look this up, and... yup. First of all, it's the I-153, not the I-185 that's the Seagull.
Second, this thing's earlier model shouldn't be in-game. Due to awful engine quality and pretty much every single prototype ending up in flames(one way or another) this plane came too late and got outmatched by Lavochkin La-5's.
Then again, I'm not surprised, the Yak-9's can fire 37's and 45's without long-term engine and pilot daamge :/
Word of advice: Don't even try touching the rudder on this thing in arcade. Instant flat-spin.

This is by FAR the prettiest aircraft EVER made!!! imho

Super great tutorial... a high altitude fighter? That's why it can't wep above 4k m right? The only high alt prop fighter the Russians have in game is the MiG 3.

That plane was such shit that was reae item not mass produced in USSR
But in WT is OP as most Soviet stuff.
I only use US planes but I feel like Russian and German aircraft are over powered and are harder to shoot down and the hurricane and spitfire are also very over powered
+blue Wheels Becasue US aircraft need a lot of teamwork plus you must know what is your plane can do and cant do. When compare US plane with other nation (in my experience and opinion) US fighter at tier 2-3 the overall performance of their air plane isn't good when you compare to other nation like German the sample is P47 this plane is good at high altitude with powerful engine it's a good energy fighter but I saw many player who played this plane they don't climb and go turn fight against Japanese A6M Zero or USSR Yak (I think you guy can predict the result :D). They just rush in the fight because they think climb for 7-10 min are waste their time plus they have 8x50cal flame thrower. Or in the bad situation half of our team is bomber (B25,B17 and B29 Spam) They just rush in and die.
if you fly american aircraft all you have to do to win is climb

lel outmanouver germans in a 185... the f4 can easely keep up with the i185 can climb better and has a lower br
Main rule for russians against germans is bait to low attitude and doge flight but bf109 is to rekt always from above(n00bs doge flight in bf109)
+Lars Sassen if you have ever flown it (in realistic ofc, arcade peoples are skrubs) it will outturn a 109 at low altitude and medium speed
Yeah, I got into realistic a while ago, and its much better, much more rewarding when you kill someone. I only play arcade if I just want to mess around and wreck the other team.
The I 153 M62 Chaika Has greater speed, Very good turn rate and 4 Machinr gund and its overall better than thr F4 and it has lower BR
This plane is just easy mode.

Hands Down the WORST GAME for flying there is.... I gave in and tried
this Game again and was once again disappointed. If you want to fly a
Sim that's real and enjoyable then go to DCS. This was a huge
disappointment..........Cant bind proper controls, flight dynamics are
not even close... etc...
