First real review of the Wukong I've see. THANK YOU I have been searching for this for a few days now. Awesome content and review much appreciated I Subscribed !!!!!!
I like this controller but i already have the vader 4 pro , i think if there is an apex 5 with TMR and nearlink that could be worth an upgrade . is there any soon to be released controllers with TMRs and interesting features? I know EasySMX x30 with TMR is coming in Q2 2025 and the Gamesir G7 pro. this what EasySMX they told me personally in an Email: ''We are pleased to announce that we will be launching a new generation X30 controller in the second quarter of 2025, which will incorporate more advanced technology, potentially including the TMR sensors and higher polling rate you mentioned.''
@4tado i have the blitz 2 tmr and the cyclone 2 , they both feel in another level to aim with, to put it in simple words, it's less over shooting, meaning when i move the sticks i tend to stop moving before reaching the target and then on the target with slightly reduced speed more easily and constantly. That's not just feeling i have other controllers and i do my own testing on Aimlaps. I think there will be even more good controllers next year and they will perform even better for even cheaper prices similar to the cyclone 2.
@@MonderMatrix I’m excited for the G7 Pro you mentioned, and 100% will check out the X30, I loved the X20. The only other i know for sure is the Gulikit Libra Max. But as another commenter said, I think we’ll get a TON of gamepads in 2025 with TMR, high polling, and all the other bells and whistles. 2024 has been a great year for controllers in my opinion, and I’m stoked to see what all we get for 2025.
@@OldManRob13 same as you , i can't wait to see more , i was a guy who usually buys only one controller till it wears out , now all of the sudden i have 5 new controllers plus my old elite series 2 , and i think am not going to be able to refrain from getting more if i see something interesting, it's kinda getting out of control for me lol .
@@stevensv4864 I’ll be honest, tremor might be user error here. But yeah, nothing crazy as far as resolution with the GameSir TMRs. They do feel super accurate though, actually been playing with the Cyclone 2 a lot lately.
@@OldManRob13 well i think it is crazy bc hall has always less steps vs tmr. my g7 se has 120 steps and cyclone 2 1200 steps cyclone 2 is awesome but i think g7 pro will be more
@ definitely not always man, it depends on the sticks themselves. The Beitong Asura 2 Pro+ Nearlink has BY FAR the highest resolution/most steps of anything I’ve tested, and they’re Hall Effect, not TMR.
@@OldManRob13 omg im watching the vid and thats odd, maybe nearlink is doing something for that idk.. but does it really feel more accurate with these numbers?
@@stevensv4864 you’re talking about the Asura 2 I reviewed? It does, it feels crazy accurate. It’s kinda what made me start really diving into resolution testing, and I’ve tested every controller I’ve reviewed since then. Unfortunately, it’s missing way too many features for me to use it regularly. 2 rear buttons, no trigger locks…just can’t do it man.
Thanks for your review. I like the basic white version, in my opinion it looks sick. I have an AC version and it looks nice too. But Wukong has technical improvements and advantages. So it is the best version of Apex 4. But my favorite is the EVA edition, but very expensive, unfortunately for me.
I'm a MnK and play COD, using a Wooting 60HE and Pwnage 8K mouse and want to try out a controller to see what all the hype is about. So, if this one cannot be your main for FPS games even with the 2K polling rate. What is your main for FPS games?
@@jw4225 Flydigi’s Vader 4 Pro has been my true main for several months, but lately I also play a lot of CoD with the GameSir Cyclone 2 and the BigBig Won blitz 2. Both of those have TMR sticks, and the Blitz 2 has nearlink (aka 2000hz polling). If I had to pick just one it would be the Vader 4, but there are definitely advantages and disadvantages with all 3. The Cyclone 2 only has 2 rear buttons, and the Blitz 2 does not have analog triggers. I did reviews on all of these controllers, just fyi.
That’s a beautiful controller. I have seen it has some differences. The FGC2 apparently doesn’t work with it, so there is definitely a firmware difference as the Apex 4 works.
@@BouncingBallGames I’ve read that Brook hasn’t figured out compatibility with nearlink yet. I’m not sure if that’s true, just something I saw (probably on Reddit), but I will say none of the 2000hz controllers I’ve tested work with the XB3 adapter. Hopefully they figure it out and it can be fixed with a firmware update.
I mean if you're not worried about restricted polling rate, a Brook Wingman XB3 with the Vader 4 Pro will work. Have multiple friends who play with nothing but that on Series X.
I should mention it does require a tiny bit of finagling. Typically have to unplug and replug the Brook adapter when you turn the Xbox on, then turn the controller off and back on. No issues with disconnecting or anything, but have to do that every time you boot up the Xbox, so slightly annoying if you play wirelessly and wanna use the controller to turn the Xbox on/off.
Is there an on-the-fly button mapping/macro/turbo yet? that's the only option I didn't like in flydigi controller I need to access the app every time I need something to configure which sucks
It’s got clips on each side, fits on pretty securely. I haven’t had any issues with it, or with my Vader 4, which uses the same sticks, and I’ve got a lot of hours on it.
@@4gottenWarriors man it took me a minute to get one. I originally ordered off AliExpress, and like 2 weeks after ordering the seller messaged and said they were out of stock, so had to do the refund process. Ended up ordering through GadgetHyper the second time. Good luck with yours!
@ it was exactly two weeks from shipping date. So not super quick, but expected for China to US I guess. It was quicker the first time I ordered from them, like 10 days total I think.

Are the analog sticks more similar to the Vadar 4 pro or the original apex 4?
