Many of our houses in the UK are 100s of years old and they are fine (and honestly better than the modern junk they build! When did people forget how to point brickwork properly?). The wooden piles supporting Venice are arround 900 years old and they are still fine. People need to chill about the age of a house, if its maintained and buit properly with quality materials it can last a long time.
"If my mind didn't live in the gutter it would be homeless" Looks good for an old house. Hopefully someday after your time the next owner doesn't modernize it
That downspout is too close to the gravel. It will still pool in the gravel and trap moisture at your foundation. I would use a french drain around that side to the back or your idea of the gravel drain path down the driveway with water loving plants to make it look nicer.

Good idea! This would also help mitigate salt damage to my lawn.
downspout going toward the trash cans, not upfront?
That could work...
