Here in 2024, sadly. I have dedicated my free time to learning how to speak arabic, in honor of the beautiful Palestinians and possibly to help them and finding opportunities to do so.
I’m in love with your enthusiasm! Subscribed! I already speak a few languages and I decided that I would learn Arabic next. I hope there will be peace and prosperity soon in Falastin 🇵🇸 much love to you and your family Maha! Hope all your loved ones are ok!
I am a Palestinian but unfortunately growing up my Palestinian father wasnt around much so I never learnt the Palestinian dialect, I want to try and learn it now because these are my roots
i'm from israel and learning arabic. must say that hebrew and aracic are so similar. many words are even the same. knowing arabic helps me to communicate we the arabs who lives here and it's wonderfool bridge to know each other better
Am Palestinian descent living in El Salvador. I do not speak any Arabic though. Mainly Spanish and most of English. So I want to connect with the roots of family 🇸🇻🇵🇸
I was complaining to my hubby that I loved your channel but that you didn't have a Palestinian arabic course last night- I went to your channel to show him and TADA there it was. I am so grateful to you. God is good :).
I'm glad you decided to teach spoken Levantine Arabic. I want to study Middle Eastern studies and this was the variety of Arabic I was wanting to learn.
Björn yeah it’s good since a lot of thinkers came from there during the ottoman times and the Nadha (Arab enlightenment) which from what I seen a lot of them were from the Levant or studied there
Thankyouuuuu. I have been dating a Palestinian guy for 7 years and we have a toddler together. I want him to learn Arabic that his extended family speaks but I would like to learn it myself too 😎
I just joined as a member...I'm studying MSA with a tutor on Italki. But want to go to Palestine, to send what yrs I have left...So your classes are a Godsend for me. Surkran
Omg I looove this. I am also Palestinian but I don't speak it very well. I am sure your lessons are going to help me insha Allah. Thank you Maha LOVE U 7bibti
As an American who's family is originally coming from Syria, I'm SO glad you're doing dialect lessons! I have a rocky background with Arabic . I grew up knowing the basics of conversation (like I could talk to just my family) and I can read and write but I'm no where near a fluent arabic speaker. So even if these first lessons are very beginner and not at the level I need, I'm looking forward to seeing more and more lessons and I'm so happy you're doing this! Thank you Maha!
Maha, where was your grandmother from? My great-grandfather was from Lebanon he came here (USA) on the Titanic! I've checked the internet so many times for levantine Arabic but I was always let down, and I refused to learn standard since I was always told nobody actually talks that way.... THANK SOO MUCH for doing this!!!! It's a big deal!
Thank you for that, it is all coming back to me now. I like the Palestinian the best. I am still waiting for the days of the week lesson, months, and seasons in Palestinian dialect.
if you need help with you teaching your lesson in the condensed course you will be doing in Acre let me know. I have a friend's daughter that loves languages like you. Maybe she can be of assistance or not as she is working on her master's program now so she is very busy. She lives in ACRE.
My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
From now on I will be your subscriber not only for teaching such a wonderful language as Arabic is, but also because all the positive energy you put in the making of your videos. Greetings from Chile where there is a big colony of hard working Palestinians. Shukran.
Mabrouk on your new project. I loved your videos for learning Italian which had all the explanations in Palestinian Arabic, and am hoping that you will also have lessons entirely in 3amiya. I have learned some Lebanese, and had no trouble understanding your video "Arabs and Italian", as it wasn't all that different from Lebanese. It really helps learners to hear the explanations and discussions in the language they are learning even if they have to look up some words in the dictionary, as I did for the grammatical terms. Hearing all this at normal conversational speeds also helps, since that is how people you meet when traveling will be speaking also. I strongly recommend your learning Italian videos to those of your viewers who want to learn Palestinian Arabic.
Shukran Maha! The way water is pronounced in Palestinian dialect reminded me of the Ivrit word for water. I wonder how water is pronounced in Neo-Aramaic Assyrian...probably very similar as well. I am looking forward to the next lesson. Barak Allah!
You said more relax or more lazy 😂😂 For the ث I love how you teach I started watching your videos in México 👍🏽🇲🇽🇲🇽 thanks for these lessons Palestinian arabic is more easy !!!!! I love it
I’m Palestinian, but raised in America and unfortunately never learned Arabic. I’m here because I want to be able to understand my family better and connect with my people better, especially now

@Neha Nina. You might also want to check out Hiba Najem's channel "Learn Lebanese Arabic". Shortly after starting with her lessons I was already able to bargain with taxi drivers when I landed at Beirut airport and could start conversations with people I met. She starts you right off speaking, which felt like a miracle, and makes it really easy to learn more from people you meet, films and TV series.
Wow wow wow, I always knew that Hebrew and Arabic were similar, but this just proved to me how much. Almost every word and letter you demonstrated is very similar to Hebrew. Cool :)
20:15 you explain that you don't pronounce the Q sound for Al-Quds; how do you pronounce the word Quran since it is spelled with the same letter? thanks
