Why do these big houses claim to have an in-law suite when it is just a bedroom? An in-law suite should be like a small apartment with its own sitting room and/or kitchen. For the best in-law suite design I have ever seen, check out the Dover by K.Hov or the Parkhurst by Toll Brothers.
Because the in-laws would never leave if it was a nice as your description.
@@scottm1390 there will be a time in the next 10-15 years where my in-laws will likely have to live with us because they can't take care of themselves anymore. Having their own suite will be helpful to them...and us.

Timothy, I've seen a lot of homes, but this one, takes the 🍰🎂!! This house has everything that anyone, needs and wants!! From the upstairs to the downstairs, and the laundry room and garage is just superb and you out did yourself!! Who ever gets this house, take care of it and have "fun" in it. believe me, it's worth every dime.😊😊
I love that you toured this higher end home. The modulars and even manufactured homes are nice to see how far they have advanced, quality wise. But for those of us who are looking to or ready to build a home of this scale, it's refreshing to see.

I did not ever expect to say that this house is perfect for me. My jaw has dropped seeing that basement. Smh LOL My only con is that I would not want this home to be so close to other homes. There is no real backyard nor privacy. I would love to take this home someplace else. LOL Thank you for sharing

I don't mind neighbours, but that house looks like a transplant from California or Florida and out of keeping with what I glimpsed through the windows. I think the builder is hoping that someone will be seduced and pay over the odds in a so, so location.
I know this is a late comment, but many homes in this neighborhood have a backyard looking toward a forest FULL of huge trees. Privacy isn't an issue in this neighborhood
I am saying so because I have been to this model recently and have viewed the plots

This house is amazing! I really love it. What's really sad is, most people who live in these homes, do not utilize the kitchen like its meant to be. So even though you have all of these beautiful cabinets and a walk-in pantry, whoever lives here most likely won't use most of it. I would if this was my home. I love to cook and bake all kinds of things. Holidays would be fun here.
This is the my dream home that I’m getting
This house is my dream house for now. It’s large but still not overly that you can’t maintain it on your own. The only thing I didn’t like so much which can be fixed is the side panels on the back of the house and I think I would have liked that porch twice the size and situated right around the entire back of the house. Increase the space for the grilling area. But I love all the decode including furniture choice for this home. Here in Canada this home would be at least $3-5M. It would also be nice if newer homes had option to install an elevator for people who want 2-3 story homes because there are a lot more disabled people these days. Also, I noticed that stairs did not have hand railings.
At the 12:04 mark you can notice it does have the staircase railing in the far right wall. 👍🙂

Why don't they make these types of homes smaller? These modern homes are always super large. I would love one that's perfect for me.
They do and depending where they charge an arm and a leg . Most don’t want to pay 1.9 mil for small square footage .

Love the look. But it's Illinois and what about snow on the roof? The problem with flat tops in cold climates is that it can snow for long enough and hard enough that the residents cannot get up on a ladder and sweep off the roof. How do the designer plan to contend with that? Let the building collapse? The interior layout is gorgeous. You are right. The kitchen is fantastic. Lovely home.
Very nice house and well planned. But not for me unless I added more privacy walls. And smoked glass particularly to the front of the house.

It’s Naperville Illinois the weather is not good there for the most part. No deck waste of money.
Wish I could do it all over again as this would be the one to strive for. The floor layout is design for a large family and an entertaining family. I defiantly would prefer Hardy Plank over vinyl siding or panel boarding on the non bricked portion of the house. Very Nice!!!
This is the first modern house I like. There is a lot of unique and creative features and spaces.
I don't like a million dollar houses with wire shelving. That's my only critique.

Thanks for posting this one, the bathroom in the master bedroom is insane. I’ve see a shower in the tub but that was my first time seeing a tub in the shower 🤯🤯🤯 only thing it was missing (for me) is a conservatory, but everything else was right inline with what I want, beautiful home.

My favorite floor plan so far. I agree would like to see the exterior is something a little more classic rather than modern. But I do appreciate all those large windows. WOW. Also, would have preferred to see a full basement buildout for almost $2M

This is what it is all about! Butler's pantry, you can't go wrong. There is nothing like a Medieval styled inspired kitchen.
I wish I can build another dream of mine . I always love one half story as I like my living room open n huge Xmas 🎄 tree for my kids n their kids for holidays 😅

This home is stunning from the exterior to the interior. Every room in the house is spacious. I’m not the person who care for an open floor plan. This is awesome love love love, the kitchen 6 burner stove. The spacious pantry the lower level is spacious and awesome. The upper level is spacious as well. I love the bedrooms with the en-suite. The master bedroom and bathroom is your own sanctuary the closet has plenty of room for everything. This is my dream home that i would come and live in it. Hats off to the builder, and the designer who did the decor.

This is an ideal home for me. The guest room/in-law suite would need to be a big larger, but so much about it is perfect. Not a fan of the siding either but that’s easily changed.

From the outside, the house looks very modern and attractive. Inside, the load-bearing columns spoil the view. I liked the second floor less, but the master bedroom and bathroom are wonderful.

I would move the dining room to where the breakfast table was and close the area at the front of the house into another room. Dining should be looking into the yard in my opinion

Beautiful house, but the bedroom or small, most of them, and more closets space in some of the room’s. The master bedroom is beautiful and kinda big, but the restroom was really big and Nice’s, and closet’s was nice, just needed to be wider, so once you hang up your clothes you would have more space to walk in and out the closet. But I really did like that it was upstairs & downstairs- you just don’t see houses like that. This maybe the second house I seen with both, upstairs and down stairs. Both over all the house is beautiful, and I would love too live in it. But I know me, I would want everything to be big, but 👍👍👍👍 on your video

very nice. I would change the size of the rooms. the walkway upstairs seems to be a bit of a safety issue if you have toddlers. That little bathroom upstairs needs a larger space. Lots of space in the first floor without much use. The laundry room needs more space for folding cloths.
