Great chat. With regards to the hate speech wrecking comedy- I do believe that’s why they really want to break the Irish, John Waters hit the nail on the head . An Irish person could be going through a really hard time , real suffering , your family and friends will come along and use your pain to take the piss out of ya. The Irish are , unbeknownst, professionals at transmuting the negative. We will use that negative to heal the fuck out of each other . laughter is the key. It’s an absolute blessing to go through life with an understanding of the Irish psyche.
Sounds pretty similar to the psyche of all of the British Isles andNW Europe :-). Or even lot of the world

Good to hear you again Aidan, and love Steve. His ability to satirise the evil that’s stalking us is fuxking brilliant. You can imagine these demon knunts being furious at us laughing at their machinations and NOT buying their BS - I bet he keeps them up at night!
Love this channel. Aidan top man. Look forward to someone interviewing Aidan someday . Would make great listening. I'd recommend as well a visit to mount melleray monastery in cappaquin for a few days. Worth staying there for a few days of relaxation an spirituality and great value as well.

Very good point about the peanuts alergy at 25 mins...
My son's school banned all nuts several years ago even though currently no kids or teachers have a nut allergy.... but apparently someone may visit the school that has. Pwhw!!

The only issue I've ever had with a comedian was Frankie Boyle's comment about Rebecca Addlington, Olympic Swimming Champion. She was not trying to be a model. Her nose wasn't quite glamourous in his opinion and he made a vile remark. Not funny. Spiteful. Steve would never take the piss like that. He's a gentleman throughout. Got tickets to see him soon!
