She works and keeps our family together every day, and she deserves a lot more but night off here and there seriously makes a huge difference

Or something along those lines. If I was in the trades or something doing manual labor, I think coming home and doing woodworking would be the last thing on my mind. I’d want to be reading or doing puzzles or something. But I spend all goddamn day thinking. Sometimes I just need to turn my brain off for a bit and work with my hands. It’s very energizing and refreshing
