My coworkers/friends ask how after 15 years we still have a good sex life, but it just boils down to appreciating her and occasionally taking some of the load off of her. She works and keeps our family together every day, and she deserves a lot more but night off here and there seriously makes a huge difference

Or something along those lines. If I was in the trades or something doing manual labor, I think coming home and doing woodworking would be the last thing on my mind. I’d want to be reading or doing puzzles or something. But I spend all goddamn day thinking. Sometimes I just need to turn my brain off for a bit and work with my hands. It’s very energizing and refreshing
