After finishing my big adventure ride around Australia I follow the road back to Sydney, the end of my trip. On my way in on the M4 highway I get pulled over by the cops. With a loaded touring bike and a funny foreign license plate one easily becomes a target. What did the police have to say? Maybe they have never seen a Honda Transalp before.
Because of this I meet James with whom I stay for a few days in Newtown. And as it turns out, he is into adventure motorbikes as well. Isn't travel just great like that.

Well done either way. You learnt, you improved, you win. Great video, I have a dual purpose and I have done one trip so far. I plan to do more and you may inspire more people to at least share their adventures through media platforms they did not think of before.

Great old video here I got to watch. Awesome when a fellow biker offers a place. Any update on him. Did he ever get the solar bike running and make a go at it ??

I think he ran into some troubles early on, think in Japan. Ended up continuing on a different bike.

I’m not sure why this popped up. I’ve been following you for well over a year, almost 2 years. You look so young compared to now. I wonder what happened to your friend that was building his bike.

Yeah, was not bad. I think he was just curious. Loved Turkey, the east is beautiful and full of friendly and hospitable people.

that cop is not smart pull you over on the side of that road, is putting you in danger & himself too to be run over by a car or truck

Hmmm maybe look a bit closer - he pulled him up in the stopping lane. The Police Car is offset parked with his emergency lights on - sheltering the bike and rider from oncoming vehicles - text book safe stop. The camera makes the passing traffic seem closer than it is. I think you'll find he's plenty smart enough.

I agree. But cops are all stupid, even the nice ones. Look at the ridiculous way they are behaving in Australia now.

but why do you even hold out the go pro just mount it somewhere the footage is not good when you hold it we can see the handle and your hands gives the impression of the footage not being natural
