Everyone is so picky over the littlest things. Just accept the changes, FF still follows the tradition

fROM 1:47 TO the rest of the battle I think it's an entire reference or parallel to ff7. I mean the battle between light and caius sounds taken from advent children
I can sort of see the similarities, but that part where we have to take cinematic action as Light to fight Caius was much more badarse and epic compared to FF-VII's, because you can use magic, the music Eternal War fits very well with it, and the environment (Valhalla) is definitely more "fantasy"
Actually it is not explained in the game itself properly but the whole "humans on pulse can learn magic" thing happens because Etro's actions, along with creating Paradox effects and gates, also caused a quantity of the Goddess magic to seep into Pulse's soil which can be accessed by humans. It is a similar nature to the magic l'Cie have, since their power is given from the 3 gods (either Pulse, Lindzei or Etro).
Most monsters, L'cie and Fal'cie can use magic. Humans don't normally have what it takes to use magic. But after Cocoon fell and Etro's gate opened, it awakened something in humans, giving them the power to use magic.
Of course not! I also do and think this is one of the best, if not the best ship in the whole FFXIII franchise! The chemistry they have is unreal and their hatred was purely built on outer circumstances. Once those circumstances were removed in LR, there was no hatred and thus their relationship could go in so many ways, especially romantically.
Yeah, they made it that way in KH, but the KH universe allows for that story device as the whole plot is about the human hearts and how the spirit, heart and body are separate entities, with the darkness of people's heart also becoming a separate entity as well.
Fight them back, use their strength against them, also know when you can’t fight them, that way you can find other tactics to survive them when you fight them
isaywordswrong I wish they would have explained it more as well. In Mythology Valhalla is supposed to be a place for fallen warriors throughout time. Valkeries are supposed to guide the warriors to Valhalla and train them for Ragnarok the destruction of the world. Lightning took on the role of a Valkerie in Lightning Returns but she was more of a protector of this realm and time.
When you look at the particular castle in Valhalla Lightning is in (0:20), it looks like a really familiar artefact... Could it be the one Alyssa gave?? It really does look like an artefact but I just can't seem to put my finger on it.. Someone reply please?? Lool
no this is final fantasy xiii-2, a completely different game that continues on from final fantasy xiii. what u see here is the prologue of the game itself which is part of the game.
Actually, I believe that's the story between them in KH. Sephiroth can't die because he's Cloud's darkness or some such. It's pretty much what you said in the "normal" FFVII universe though.
chrisvirina no. Yeul dies young because seeing the future consumes her life. It was a price to pay for becoming the oracle of Paddra. She can be born again, but her fate is the same. Yeul and Caius are from an older era, even older than Fang and Vanille's.
Kevin Cortez i watched more of the cut scenes of this game. In "caius vs serah" episode 5, caius explains that the yeuls die younger and younger because of the what happened in ffxiii. This story was so confusing the first time i played it so it's just now im understanding the story. 😂😂😂. So if i understand correctly, after fxiii ending the timeline changed, future and past thus affecting the life of yeul. I think it's because the yeuls see more of the future because it keeps changing so it takes away more of their life hence dying younger and younger. This story is pretty great once you've actually understood it. Thanks for the reply tho! :) oh yeah, here in this video once yeul passes away caius enrages because of the flashback to the ending of ffxiii!
Actually there is. In short, this is through both the Blessing of the goddess as well as the power of chaos (which etro controls). Play the game and collect the fragments or look through the Fabula Nova Crystalis Mythology online detailing on Chaos and the gods/goddesses.
I love she pulls off Army of One at 11:03. This intro was so cool, it's a pity the rest of the game was a let down aside from it's fantastic OST and a couple cool boss fights.

When you look at the particular castle in Valhalla Lightning is in (0:20), it looks like a really familiar artefact... Could it be the one Alyssa gave?? It really does look like an artefact but I just can't seem to put my finger on it.. Someone reply please?? Lool
I must thank you..in these final moments I have met my finest oponent.
LOVE THAT PART!!!
no this is final fantasy xiii-2, a completely different game that continues on from final fantasy xiii. what u see here is the prologue of the game itself which is part of the game.
You may want to take another look. You're at 11k now.
MOIN NAITO. The theme is called "Eternal fight".
I was a pleasure to help.
FF Ftw.
The soundtrack for that part is called the Eternal Fight :)
This shit gave me goosebumps and made my eyes tear up 🙌🏽 fucking epic
I love it when she uses army of one.
I guess the May DLC will continue off from this scene!
I wonder what happens!!!
there are a slew of final fantasy VII reference some from advent children and a few dissidia reference see if you guys catch them all.
Powers of chaos, bend to my will! (time frozen) epic :D
But what if I don't wanna!!??
is Caius voiced my Gaara from Naruto?
+Fang Oerba Yun yep yep :)
Adam
yes...just yes :)
he also voiced jushiro in bleach
I can't get over how Kain and Caius are so similar XD
i love this fight
It's called Eternal Fight, a youtube search will bring it up.
if they were relieved of their brands, how are Lightning, Serah, and the rest of them still able to use magic and their L'Cie powers?
Dr. Liara??? Since when did you become an element???
Actually, I believe that's the story between them in KH. Sephiroth can't die because he's Cloud's darkness or some such. It's pretty much what you said in the "normal" FFVII universe though.
whats that song at 8:49?
So the yeuls dying is because of lightning when they changed the future in ffxiii?
chrisvirina no.
:) oh yeah, here in this video once yeul passes away caius enrages because of the flashback to the ending of ffxiii!
so the 4 of them (Light, Serah, Noel, and Snow) are the only ones who can use magic?
2:26- Lightning's face says "Bitch please!"
This intro was so cool, it's a pity the rest of the game was a let down aside from it's fantastic OST and a couple cool boss fights.
eternal fight.
thats the name of it on the soundtrack.
Lightning i love you Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Thank you so much
Best Final Fantasy Intro ever :-)
i love lightning in the future
It was a comet in this video, not a big meteor like the one Sephiroth summoned.
I want Claire's armor 😍
Just imagine a tales of and final fantasy crossover Jesus
