I remember when they launched the metal cards and people went crazy over it..... all the hype died down just as fast as it built up, and then people realised the problem with these cards - how do you destroy it when it expires a what happens if you lose it and need a replacement? It may have seemed cool at first but quickly became a nuisance. If owning a gold plated card is what makes you happy that's fine as its your life but I would seriously think about how long that temporary happiness will last before regret kicks in. The purpose of a bank card is to facilitate payments. I would even argue that 95% of revoluts customers probably don't even use any of the benefits which means that they are literally paying for something they can get for free.
Alot of bells and whistles with everything Revolut offers from their app to thier cards. The cards are obviously their trademark and it's what they're known for. So I think they should continue to push the boat out with more unique designs. Like the new setting. 👍
The gold card is likely to make at least a few people think you are rich, and it costs less than expensive suit, a watch, or a car. If that's your goal in life you should go for it.
i have a revolut metal card which cost me 13,99 per month cus of the cash back and the travel insurance etc. but the revolute gold cost 79,99 is it once payment or its every month?
Better than a gold-plated bank card?! 😅 Depends what you’re after in a ‘bank account’, Revolut’s customers choose it for things like crypto trading, travel insurance, flash bank cards, etc
Yes. Revolut is the king for online payments. Just don't keep your money there. The only good use for a revolut card, is to buy subscriptions like Netflix or Spotify with VPN in different currency.
I'm statisfied with my personalized Premium Silver card, and it was free, including shipping. This is a waste od money. My annual Revolut Premium subscription is 72€ (6€ monthly), it gives me a lot of cash withdrawals, 5 monthly commission free stock trades and lower fees on crypto and precious metal purchases. This is just an unnecessary overkill in my opinion.
for real? does the metal cards rust? I got the metal card which I'm really happy about, as I got it for "free" with the Metal plan, but I would guess they used rust free metal. but well, rust free metal might not be magnetic, some are, but not all let's just hope my metal card doesn't rust before it gets old enough, and I can get a new one for "free", but I'm 100% not going to buy the expensive 24K gold card now that I know this, even tho I was 99% not going to buy it anyway
Total waste of money then
Thanks for sharing your opinion!! Really opened my mind from getting it! 🙏

The Gold card is one of payment but there are subscriptions too but you dont need one for this gold card
Thank you for the review. I agree its a waste of money
gimmicks - is revolut able to offer something better than existing banks?

It's back now as a regular edition. Hence why I'm checking the review.
