- Sup humans!!! This weeks racer jacket fashion inspiration video was extremely fun for me to film and I hope it fuels some creative racing jacket outfits for you. Since I bought my car racer jackets, I've been absolutely obsessed with styling racing jacket outfits and I've been wearing my cute racing jacket outfits so I hope you enjoy the motorsports fits I put together this week.
Also if you are wondering where to get racer jackets and where to buy racing jackets I would recommend checking out depop and searching up "Racing jacket," "du pont racing jacket," or "Nascar racing jacket" and if you want a particular color just type in "white racer jacket" or whatever color you are looking for. If you do buy racing jackets from depop I would be careful that you don't overpay for your racing car jacket because some people crazy overchage. You can alternatively look up the official NASCAR racing jackets by just going on their official website, but the racer jackets there are brand new and tend to be a little more expensive as they are also the official ones (the quality is amazing though). Lastly, I can't vouch for the quality of these, but I've seen some people get there racing jackets from Ali Express. Hahaha I definitely feel you on that. Sucks when there is cool stuff you can't get in your county :( Idk where you are, but maybe it's worth looking online for you or ordering from another country and just biting the bullet with the customs fees if its not super expensive.
Do racer jackets fit true to size? They look kinda big. Does the weather need to be cold to wear them?
Hey! My jackets I all purposefully purchased oversize which is why they are significantly too big and also why tbh I can't give you a completely accurate answer to your first question. Having seen some of the smaller fitting jackets though I do think that they are designed to be a little big and loose fitting so I'd say there is a good chance you could size down and be completely fine (obviously varies by brand somewhat though). Regarding your second question, no. I wore mine in 30+°C and I was relatively fine. That being said, for me, it was also benefitted by the oversize fit allowing a draft of air (if that makes any sense lol) and I would still say it's more of a spring temp. kinda clothing piece.
