Welcome to The Warning and you have been introduced to The Warning Army. A "rabid" group of the most loyal and loving fans you would ever meet. I was never a hardcore follower /supporter of a band until I found them in 2014. As hard and impressive Dany, Pau, and Ale are on stage, they are as sweet, humble, and appreciative off stage. They, and their parents, are a rarity in the entertainment business because they are not full of themselves and arrogant divas. Yes they fought for control of their music and were FIERCELY independent prior to signing with Lava. So many labels (Disney, etc) wanted to sign them, but they always said "no". The labels wanted to change their sound, style, look, etc. A famous quote in response to a label telling them "do you want to play in front of 12 or 12,000", Pau came back with "We would rather play in front of 12 if that means we keep our music our way". And this was in 2016 or 2017, when they were around 12, 15, and 17. Total confidence in what they are doing. Yet they also appreciate their fans and continue to be surprised and grateful for the support the fan community has given them through the years. They started a Patreon page and fought to keep that as well as their "private" connection to their fans. They are just down to earth teenagers when off stage and full of fun and positivity.
Thanks! Fortunately, the band and their team produced 4 official videos from their Mayday EP. Each is spectacular in its own right, and all of the music in the EP's 6 songs (1/2 of their 3rd LP) is unbelievably good! Incredibly, the separate live sessions for "Choke" and "Evolve" are even better than the album versions!
This was the first song of the EP that was released. When I saw it I knew we were in for something special with the rest of the songs. Can't get enough.

Interesting information, and that is reflected in her song selections for her covers during her midnight serenades she graces us with from time to time. Pandora, you need to react to those as well. Dany has an ability to make you believe she is just singing to you individually, even though there are 400+ people watching her. She has a natural charisma that is so caring and endearing. All three are wonderful humans, as is there parents and their manager.
There are videos with English subtitles, but if you watch those you are watching a pirated video and take away views from The Warning's official video. Having the lyrics pulled up and reading along as you watch the official video is, in my opinion, a better option.

Great reaction, I just saw them in Rockville. If you want to see Pau beat the crap out of a drum set may I suggest you watch that performance. Beware the audio and sound mix through the stream on Twitch was horrible. There are a few fan videos that do a better job capturing what we heard at the show from the stage sound mix. @Pandora Plays, for anything pre-2021 you don’t have to worry about copyright, as they were independent. And most of their content is live in concert or live in studio anyway.
@@kevinmcfarlane2752 to add to Kevin's comment, you should look at some of their earlier concert from 2015 or 2016, for example the South by Southwest festival (SXSW), they were scheduled to play at one bar on one night, then a band canceled at a different bar the next night and asked TW to play, both nights they did incredible. The Warning is very good at taking an opportunity when it is given. One characteristic of The Warning is how professional they are at such a young age, Ale especially. She has had her guitar strap break on several occasions and she just keeps playing, almost never missing a note. Also funny is they have played so many venues (bars and others) that they otherwise wouldn't be allowed in (even today).
If you want to literally see her demolish a drum kit, watch some of the Rockville videos from this past Sunday. The poor drum tech was constantly scrambling to keep the kit together during their set. But wait until you've reacted to the videos for the songs from that set (Evolve, Animosity, Z, Disciple, Dull Knives, and Dust to Dust) that you haven't seen yet. I say this because the audio from this event was generally bad and for a first time listener you should hear them as they were meant to be heard (or at least from a venue with good sound like Lunario, Foro Didi, The Whiskey, or Dakota Bar).
For me this songs makes so much sense after you hear their concept album Queen of the murder scene. Conceptually Choke is the continuation of the character in QOTMS. In Choke the Crimson Queen has trascended. Fron a psychological stand point she integrated her shadow and has come to terms with her emotions. I have a whole theory about it lol...
I see you react to video games, including anime style, well Dany, Pau, and Ale (DPA) LOVE anime and video games. Recently, they have played Little Nightmares and several anime video games on their Twitch channel. But, these are in their native language of Spanish, but fun to watch none the less. Fun Fact:(as Pau likes to say) English is their second language, but they sing in it because it works better for rock music. (Also they grew up listening to is as their parents were/are huge fans of rock with many a family night dedicated to watching live concert videos of Queen and other iconic acts. I think it also gives them a global fan base as most of the world uses English to communicate internationally.)

Pau beats on her kit like it just stole her lunch money. I believe she was 16 at the time. And contrary to popular myth, Pau was NOT a judge of the competition. She is listed as "marketing", so she was the face of the competition.
The day they released this video they hosted a livestream 30min before the drop and answered questions from chat and even answered a few phone calls as well. they were excited like kids waiting to open presents on Christmas day . You can literally pick ANY song from their catalog and not be disappointed. They have a great understanding of music theory and what makes a great song. they have many many great years ahead of them. They are very passionate about their music and love sharing them. To me, Dany’s voice has a Grace Slick quality and her guitar playing is reminiscent of Jorma Kaukonen’s guitar style, both of the Jefferson Airplane of the late 60s. Ale on the bass has matured into a force to be reckoned with, she is superb. Pau on drums is powerful. All their voices harmonize well and as sisters they can easily predict each other’s movements in the songs. Awesomeness!

The Warning have opened for Def Leppard 3x, but you won't hear, "Pour Some Sugar On Me", from them, even on their EP.
