Maybe others have suggested this, but, The Warning are devastatingly good at performing live! They produce what some call, a Wall of Sound; powerful, full, lyrical music full of emotion, that punches you in the lungs and guts and leaves you breathless. There are many videos of them performing in concerts in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, as well as venues in Los Angeles and New York. They just performed 30 minutes at Welcome to Rockville this past Sunday. The best videos are from fans: Southwest 737 was at front row on Sunday and he recorded excellent videos of the whole setlist...
You need to see 10 year Pau playing drums.
In this format Pau is like a fire horse asked to pull the milk wagon. Oh, she can do it…but she just wants to break into a full gallop!

Really cool display they put on, both young ladies are great drummers for sure.. but yea Pau is my very biased favorite, when the camera cuts to Pau several times I see a blur and next thing all her cymbals are swinging and she's still in the middle of a huge fill.. just mesmerizing. They did two Tedx shows, either one is just great. .Rock on Pandora !
As someone that started playing drums at 8yo, I can tell you that both young ladies are VERY good. I give huge credit to Pau's parents, Luis and Monica, for recognizing and nurturing their daughters' obvious talents. Pau being able to start at 7 years old on a full drum kit, and starting out singing and playing at the same time are 2 HUGE factors in what a special talent she has become. She also practiced many hours a day and had good private lessons. I was like most others, starting out with a drum pad, and never even playing a full drum kit until I was 13yo, only had lessons from school band teachers, and only practicing a few hours a week, because I was more interested in playing sports. I can tell you, it takes not only talent, but hard work, a lot of practice and good teaching to get as good as Pau is now. By the time of this video, when she was 16, she was already better than I ever got at playing drums. It is no accident, it is talent, hard work and a lot of support from her family. And we are glad of that, because she is "lightning in a bottle"!!!
I completely agree. I started Piano at 6, Clarinette at 12, Guitar sadly only at 18 and the Uke as an adult. I studied Conservatory, private lessons and at school. I was never close to this good as I never put in the necessarily hours to Master, but I know from having played with many who did put in the hours, that "Spirit"/Soulfulness can't be learned, you really need both: that special Gift and the technical side, that drive for perfectionism, both. Watching these girls is pure joy because they are the entire package! Pau, for me, is a magnet! When she's on screen, I can't stop watching! 💙
@@PandoraPlaysMusic - The Warning girls might be masters of their current instruments. But before playing guitar, bass & drums. They mastered classical piano. Apparently, they had very, very good piano teachers that kept them very interested in music.
Then came the Rock and video game. That's when that spark lit up. Not too mention putting their covers on RUclips so family can see their progress. One of those went viral.
The rest they say is history.

The 2017 TEDx performance is legendary in The Warning community. So many became devoted fans after seeing it, particularly the song "Survive" although my personal favorite is "Unmendable" where a 14-year-old Pau proceeds to destroy the drums. Most reactors haven't had much problem with copyright so long as you stop a couple of times. It's mostly livestreams that have run into trouble. Look forward to more!
Sorry, but precisely, the live versions have no problem, on all the shows on their official channel, since until they signed with Lava, they were independent, the only videos that had problems are Choke and Evolve, the video clips , and for these, they recorded them live, in Live Session studio, and they even sound better

Hi, Faith won her age category the previous year at 17. Pau was 16 and was invited that year to JUDGE the category, with all that this implies. Faith wrote this set, so she was comfortable with it, while Pau had a short time to learn it. Pau seemed to be holding back a lot here, since her riffs with The Warning are a lot more complex and furious. I think Pau was being a gracious guest to Faith. Faith is a fantastic drummer too, but Pau is very special.
FYI, Pau was NOT a judge. She is listed as "marketing". She was there to promote the competition. ;)
@@krash66 interview Pau says that they asked her to be the face of the competition then asked her to be a judge for the competition for the 18 and under age group.
@@the_joe_baker67N_official Do you have a link to the interview? I watched the entire competition and looked for her as a judge throughout. Never showed her as a judge of any age group. She as listed as marketing in the credits. Maybe they asked her and she declined. If you have a link, please share it. Thanks.

I love how Pau just throws here self at her drums with reckless abandon and pure joy! I noticed she has a second high hat to he right. this is cool, I think she has that one closed and the other open to add another layer to her sound as she use's every thing on her kit.

Hello again, new subscribed on the first The Warning video. They are so creative and excellent musicians. All three are impressive in their own right, but have a great energy when they play together. As you journey further, you will be come impressed at their professionalism when something unexpected happens. They are fully committed to give the fans the best show ever and will always power through any problems. Even last Sunday when they returned to the stage after almost 2 years away due to the pandemic, they hit several glitches, some of their own and some beyond their control. But they put out so much energy and enthusiasm that you don't even notice. They are also always willing to learn and improve. They will be a major force in the future of Rock.
Being able to improvise when problem arise is also a gift! I'd love to see that!
It has to be noted that this composition was written by Faith Benson. Both drummers are skilled no doubt about that
It should be noted that Faith didn't get Pau her copy of the music until just before Pau was getting on her plane from Mexico so she didn't have much time to practice...(hmmm). Pau, as always, rises above challenges and performs masterfully.

@@PandoraPlaysMusic You can find videos of their individual songs on RUclips. The most used is the one of Survive, it has a snippet of their speech before playing it.

Great reaction Pandora! So glad you got to see this. You can really see the difference in the 2 drummers. I am not a drummer but I have watched professional drummers react to this and they say Faith is a more jazz style controlled drummed and Pau is more like a madman having a seizure with a running chainsaw (It was meant in a really good way). They all comment on just how fast Pau is and how her technics are perfect for rock music. Can't wait for your next review of The Warning!! 🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡😍😍😍

I’d argue Pau continues to get better. That said, Faith has spent her time in a band with her sisters, and I’ve not heard her get the chance to shine in their recordings. Faith clearly has a jazz groove in her syncopation and rhythms and I’d love to see her at least paired with a jazz combo for a song or two to see if I’m right. That said, Pau at least didn’t break her kit or send broken sticks flying, both of which she has done more than once. She has changed her style a bit but as she still beats the kit mercilessly, she is a Punisher. If you watch the second TEDx - they did 2 - in the song Survive she breaks a stick early, keeps going and switches out smooth. 🤘 #NumberlyGarfs
Lightning in a bottle is as perfect a description that it may be to use yet still somehow falls a bit short. Squeeze a Hurricane into the same bottle and you.may have it lol.
Loving this journey. TEDx talks are great. there are actually two of them, the second one getting far more attention.
Maybe when your done with that you will be ready to have your heart ripped out by Black Holes. So moving it is known around TWA as the one that made the toughest of us cry like babies.

I like Faith Benson (who wrote this song). Too bad she drums in her sisters band Crimson Apple. Which are a pop band. Faith won the competition. And Pau was a judge (believe it was a very young age bracket). Pau *did not* judged any of Faith's competitions.
