This little child was probably right around 4 feet tall, playing an adult drum kit, reaching all of those cymbals and pulling off the cross overs. She is positively tiny in height, but giant in stature. The sound she gets, despite the lack of mass behind each strike is mind blowing. She is a titan, a tiny little titan. It can be the only explanation!

*Factoid:* This was the second take. Pau nailed *"the octopus"* the first time. But one of the overhead camera's stopped working. Pau, being so young & a perfectionist. She was devastated. She didn't think she could pull off *"the octopus"* move a second time. But her mother convinced her to try it again. And her mother stay there to encourage her daughter. You could see her foot tapping along. That's why Pau clapped at the end. She was proud of her accomplishment.
Paulina and her sisters are 3 Unicorns from the planet Rocktopia! Yes, they all get personal lessons on their instruments. And even when they were all in school, they practiced 5 hours a day. 2 hours on each of their instruments and 3 hours as a band. They have worked VERY hard to get this good!
The bassist, Alejandra, (Ale for short, pronounced AH - LEH) is the youngest of the three sisters. Dany is the eldest, she's the guitarist and lead singer. Paulina is the middle child.
Two years later she and her sisters, 9 year old bass player and 14 year old singer guitarist covered Metallicas Enter Sandman and have 22 million years. She is now 19 and the sisters are about release their third album. If you have not seen the Warning then you are missing out. Paulina also provides some lead vocals on some of their songs while drumming.
Theres a small documentary. Her dad noticed how good she was and got her into lessons at 7. I love to hear him tell the story..the pride and love in him shines through.
One thing I don't recall anyone mentioning is that these sisters practice so much. They spend hours each day practicing. This great talent y'all seen does come from within, but they do definitely work on it. Hard to truthfully predict, but I believe at some point Pau will be on the cover of a drummer trade magazine featured as one of the best in the industry.

Drums were one of the best things to ever happen in my life. The aerobics of playing, stress relief of pounding out a bad day. Social admiration. The joy of learning mathematics to assist in becoming a better drummer. Being on stage and looking out over a sea of people jumping and screaming for your drum solo is heaven on Earth.
Dany started piano lessons at 6 and younger girls around 5 ,then rock band and then lessons on induvial instruments ,then formed a band but were still doing lessons in fact there 1st EP was there homework each had to write song and I think they also had to do a different genres . They have had excellent teachers.
In 2018, she was a judge for Hit Like A Girl, which has a demo video with her playing with previous winner. BTW, they Just dropped their version of Enter Sandman (Metallica) with Alessia Cara. 🔥their are videos of them playing piano around 6, also

They all started piano very young, like 4 years old, and followed by constant lessons and a summer session at Berklee School of Music in Boston. They were on the Ellen Show and Target gave them $30,000 to attend. The youngest was below the age limit but they gave her a waiver.

I LOVE all 3 of them BUT since I re-found them last year at the beginning of the pandemic, the more I watch these early videos. I've come to realize that Pau was the driving force for the girls. at this point she had been playing the drums for MABYE 1.5-2 years and she's already THIS GOOD. so NOW watch any of their early covers and it's Paulina pushing them. Atleast from how & what I've noticed and granted I'm not a musician but she's just plain amazing! Dany and Ale are fkin awesome too it just took them a lil longer to get noticed the same way.. BUT look at them now in Choke/Evolve and now The Enter Sandman cover with Elissia Cara and you can see how far they've come. Their latest band video, Evolve...The Warning truly *has* evolved. Pau is 19 now and already feels like one of the best rock drummers ON THE PLANET. Period. All 3 sisters are getting after it, but you can't take your eyes off Pau. It's impossible. I've watched that video so many times. (I liked y'alls reaction to that!)
Gotta do Nandi Bushell live with the Foo Fighters in concert. I would do an audience recording because her official RUclips channel doesn't capture the entire performance. But she played Everlong with the Foo Fighters, Live, in front of thousands of people and nailed it. Everlong is a relentless song to play on drums. If everything could ever feel this real forever

She feels things like rhythm, bass and timing through her feet and that connects directly to her hands, music is like walking in grass or sand for her! Very special indeed! js That's just my hunch of course I don't know her personally.
Sometimes Ale will sing lead if Dany needs to rest her voice or has a cold. Check out her doing Hunter when they opened for Stryper in 2019. Normally Dany is lead for about 70% with Pau singing lead, while drumming, for 30%. Definitely a talented bunch to be able to form a 3 piece band, all of them write songs (though Pau usually starts the process) and all of them play keys as well. Actually, most of their songs begin with Pau at the piano. They write the music, lyrics and melodies. And to release a concept album like Queen of the Murder Scene when Dany was only 18. To really see some of their exceptional talent see Pau doing Black Holes. A song she wrote at 13. The version from the Dakota Bar has good audio. You need to see the newly released Enter Sandman "cover" The Warning and Alessia Cara did for the Metallica Blacklist Album.

This is the Cobus version and not how we can hear in a radio. She practiced it for a whole year and she just needed two takes to record this video. What I heard about it that she didn’t grab one of the cimbal on the top and she was devastated about it and started crying. Her mom Fortunetely was there and could tell her, “ honey try it again I’m sure that you can make this time “ imagine folks being ten yrs old and just one little mistake made her cry. Her work ethic is out of this world just like her sisters work ethic.

You are right. The more kids are exposed to stuff and able to attempt to learn it at a young age when their brain is forming the better. Language is a big one. It's better to teach English and a Second Language at the same time than to wait until High School. Language parts of the brain form by 10 and the older you get the hard it is to learn a second language. Not impossible but much harder. Same with music.
Age isn’t so important as how much time you’ve been playing. She’s been playing 4 years here which is actually a good amount of time. It’s not at all surprising she could play a Kelly Clarkson song well. It’s a solid performance.

As far as little girl drummers go I've got one word for you -- YOYOKA --. she is on track to be the best drummer ever, at age 11 she made the list of greatest drummers of all time by Drummers World Magazine with her rendition of "Good Times Bad Times" by Zeppelin (link below), made when she was only 8 years old. Language parts of the brain form by 10 and the older you get the hard it is to learn a second language. Not impossible but much harder. Same with music.

Age isn’t so important as how much time you’ve been playing. She’s been playing 4 years here which is actually a good amount of time. It’s not at all surprising she could play a Kelly Clarkson song well. It’s a solid performance.

As far as little girl drummers go I've got one word for you -- YOYOKA --. she is on track to be the best drummer ever, at age 11 she made the list of greatest drummers of all time by Drummers World Magazine with her rendition of "Good Times Bad Times" by Zeppelin (link below), made when she was only 8 years old. She was already so good she caught the attention of Robert Plant (zep lead singer) who did a review and was amazed. Joined her first Rock Band at 5 years old. (she's 11 or 12 now)
