If you buy the map on Etsy you need to work on it and it is from $5 to $9 or even more per map with 3 layers. If you get the basic subscription you can make 76, 3 layer maps with a cost of $1.6 on your entire 3 layer project. In my book that is a win.

yep, I would have paid 50-100.00 for this software but wont even pay 1.00 a month. even a pay to upgrade system is better than subs. this is the Affinity vs Adobe model. they picked the wrong one for me :D looks like rly cool software though.

I'm not a fan of subscriptions but cost benefit. My time is more important specially on laser work. I can make the map I need.in a couple minutes and work on something else instead fixing lines for 1 or 2 hours. I understand that is not probably the cheapest or something but definitely will do the trick to save time.

The processing for this happens in the cloud. There are variable hosting fees involved in such and subscription models, like it or not, are the best way to balance the variable cost incurred and provide you with value and ongoing updates and enhancements

Normally pricing is something that can be transferred to customers. Definitely I always need to think about cost benefits and more importantly how many I can make by hand or with a software

While there are tutorials on how to do this for free, this is a nice package that automates the process. Pretty cool!!

It really is cool on the basic subscription a 3 layer map comes to about $1.6 compared to the $5 or more on Etsy for the file.

I've been using professional software ally life and I have to say that other software that my business uses is 3k per year. For a couple hundred years I can make a lot of money saving time.

Adobe style pricing is a non starter for me. The 'credits' system, another non starter for me. This model is predatory; opportunistic at best. Hard pass. I would pay for a license, even a tiered license, but this is too far. And they're gating exports? Come on. Did these guys make mobile games before this venture?

I think processing by hand cost a lot more than this tool for the cost of selling and the time you save on each work or project is well worth it. Ultimately like a lot of designers some software is included on pricing for their prices and this should be no different.

Put it on perspective if you work in a lake map ( not buy from Etsy work in yours) and take.you 1 to two hours. You put on one single map $30 on time being really conservative, and you pay for a full year $115.20… each map can have up to 5 layers not only the lake and a couple things and you get it ready in minutes .
