Hi, Paige here, viewing from cold, little Invercargill at the bottom of New Zealand. 😊 Thank you for this awesome preview of your new machines. It's nice to see the reality of live demonstration! As crafters, we're all aware of the trial and error that goes into getting our projects just perfect. I really appreciate the human side of this presentation 🙌 I wish I'd have been available to see it live, but I have just finished viewing this recording now. I still REALLY REALLY REALLY would love an M1 Ultra as soon as I can get my hands on one!

Ok so I've been following your products for a while now and yes you have got a good product. The problem I'm facing is whether moving to your product is more cost effective than upgrading what I have.
From what I worked out you are not and that worries me.
I am happy to discuss further to explain where you are missing out in opportunities, however, I cannot justify such a price .
Side note, seems to be a good product but without realising world testing and acknowledgement it's an expensive piece of plastic on a shelf.

A jack-of-all trades is a master of none. Get you a $40 inkjet printer, a $300 Cricut, which can do the cutting and drawing, and a 40w laser for less than $260 (found on a competitors site). $600 total. Less than half the cost of this and you can do more than 1 thing at a time.

Can not get a true 40w laser, let alone an enclosed one for $250 US dollars. The laser output of those are usually 5W, or less.
Also no other device prints directly to solid surfaces, like wood and acrylic. The time I will save by not needing to had paint, or spray paint, or air brush, many of my laser projects.
@@MrGillard I stand corrected. However this thing is only 10w for the $1299 pricetage. So change my $250 to $620 for an Aomstack X20 Pro 130w power, 20w laser. Point is, $1300 is a bit too steep. But if you want to spend your money on it....

Maybe I am missing something but…..
If you are moving between functions, specifically going from the laser to any of the other functions, will you have to perform a deep clean of the bed area to get rid of any of the residue/resins/ cut pieces etc produced by the laser cutting before placing the mat for blade cutting?
As I see it, if you don’t, the mat will be likely to pick up any of the by products of cutting and it may be difficult to ensure the smooth surface required.
Perhaps including a cutting bed and a crafting bed may be a simple solution?
Simply clear away the debris that falls off during laser processing. M1 Ultra provides triangular riser for propping up materials during laser processing, so there are basically no residues like resin on the base plate.

I am no expert in this but from experience with 10w, 20w and 40w machines, using honeycomb trays, there is often a lot of resin like liquid released as part of the cutting process. This accumulates on the baseplate and can be difficult to shift if you don’t catch it straight away. Mind you, I am only cutting plywood so I guess it could be down to the glues etc contained within that. You might be right About the triangular riser as I have no experience with these.
Anyway, hopefully your answer is correct.

i call this false advertising, for the advertised price when you made the deposit you wont even get the print module
The advertised price with the deposit was for the base machine which does not come with the print module. The print module is part of the deluxe bundle and was advertised as an add-on from the start.
