Where I’m from the car is worth 5500 USD in good running condition, You’ll be into it for $2800 after repairs, purchase price and your time. I’d yank the motor and make 2-3K - send the body down the road for another 300 bucks. Spend your time with the family 💪
DO WHAT GETS US THE SUPERCAR FASTEST! Seems like the production quality has gone up? Anyways, great content! Really cool to have the viewer decide! Great way to get interaction.
I suggest scrapping this one purely to get the supercar, make quick money, and move to a new project. love the videos! P.S. you should buy a microphone:D
Man I'm amazed by what you can get as value for money! Even for the deals you mentioned without buying they sound great! You are blessed to have these in some areas of the world a car like the one you got can cost years and years of savings. Best of luck in what's coming mate and I hope you don't scrape as it looks promising.
Fix and flip. OR scrap, but you have to document the whole scrap process so we understand what's involved next time you say you're scrapping a car. Like is it getting sold to a pick and pull yard, or are you selling it to a place to crush at a scrap yard. Do you pull any good parts to sell on market place like the wheels and tires? Maybe throw some crappy steelies on so it rolls. Is the transmission worth pulling?
If you scrap it, you’ll make quick money and on to the next, but if you fix and flip it just think of all that sweet sweet juicy RUclips content you’ll have!?!!
I’ve bought and sold about a dozen vehicles in the last 6 years and looking back, the only times I really came out on top were the ones I bought this way. Keep it up man, very entertaining, relaxing and to-the-point content. I bet you go a long way on YT!
Dope video as always, and just a tip when doing the transitions at around 1:30 if you do a very slight fade in with the audio on every clip you wont hear the clicking noise, but good stuff man.
honestly I want to see you flip it but if it where me I would pull the engine to keep for the same exact car I can eventually find on marketplace with the only thing wrong with being a blown up engine and scrap the rest. doesn't matter what you do though I will show up to watch good luck keep up the great content!
Honestly I wouldn’t do all the extra work unless there was a significant value increase, like 4-5k net profit. Otherwise go the easy money route and look for the next project.
Nice video - nice keeping up with your projects. But i do recommend that you purchase a lavalier mic set for the video shots where the sound is echoing or bad quality, e.g. in the garage. Great content - keep it up!
I would first look up that make and model and trim level in your area on multiple buy and sell sites to see what a great condition santa fe goes for . Then calculate how much for parts and your time. This could be a great "like new" vehicle for someone. But only if it's worth it. Great content!
Seems like an interesting fix job. Might draw in some good views. End of the day tho, I'd say go with whatever is most profitable, including the amount of time you have to invest. Taking the engine out won't be that quick, and selling it for parts might take time, whereas selling the car itself could be quicker, but the work required to fix the car is likely much more, etc.
Because I saw three of these models on your channel, scrap it. Try to sell the engine immediately. Also the wheels and other stuff. And then use the rest of it for other projects.
Personally, if it were me, I would probably scrap the car and move on. But for content purposes, it might be interesting for you to fix it up and see how much of a profit you might be able to get from it. Up to you.
Maybe what you should start financing the flips for people too , take a deposit, $37.99 a week for 84 months , you get a few of those going you’ll have nice income coming in for that super car , plus the repo videos of you towing the cars home would be great too
I think it is a cost/benefit analysis. How much can you sell it for, fixed? minus cost you get in scrap/parting out. Then calculate the amount of hours you are putting into fixing and selling it, instead of scrapping. Boom, you now know your $$/hr of fixing it up, and you can determine if it is worth it.
scraping would take a long time to sell the engine, most of those are covered under warranty and would get new engines under failure also. youll get more content and shorter turn around fixing and flipping. also im sooo happy i found your videos :D keep them coming!
new subscriber lol I flip cars, and I say flip it! the cons you listed is just simple things overall picture i see is the new engine in it and a huge profit of flipping it. and the body is really straight on it other than the little surface rust underneath it's a good flip
I’d suggest keeping it for parts, I know you flip lots of Hyundais and that interior would be nice to swap if you get another with a bad interior. Engine you obviously gotta save too
Very cool to see yall also using KM not only Miles. We Europeans get a bit salty with those things sometimes))). Anyways, pretty smart ways you get those cars, might also try to be honest. I'd say you should scrap the car, It's way too much and hard to repair imo. Wish you the best bro
I'd really like to watch you fix and flip it, but I think the smart move is to scrap it. Is your goal to make it entertaining for us or to get the supercar as fast as possible?
you could scrap everything, make wayyy lore money then you bought it for especially if you put stuff like the tail lights and such on eBay also that engine with 10 km on it is worth at least $5-6,000
You could flip it and probably charge 12K or more it seems that’s what people do on market place / kijiji these days. I don’t know how people actually buy that shit, but they do. $1000 is reasonable. But if I bought that same suv on CB island it would be going for $4900 as it is now…. $1000 if the head gasket was gone ( Greasycaperspecal ) 😂😂😂😂
I'd like to see it flipped, and if it were me, that's what I'd do. When you say scrapping a car, do you mean parting it out? If you're going to get the max dollar (or loonie) out of it, you need to scrap every part. That takes a lot of time and space.
The easy money is on parting it out but the youtube algorithm would definitely prefer you to get it back on the road and in the hands of a grateful punter.
you need to get a mic that goes on your shirt to stop the echo so the sound doesn't sound like crap. And make sure to get a sock for it. just get a cheap one til later
Where I’m from the car is worth 5500 USD in good running condition,

Scrap that, easy money the goal is the super car.

Fix and flip. Would love to see you work it. And, someone will get a great car on the other side! Thanks for all your hard work
Thanks for watching!

Your most popular video was flipping that first hyundai, we all loved watching it!! Why not go for something like that again? Flip #3!!!

Scrap it! Take profit and keep it moving. Great video! Keep them coming
I world rather see you flip it. I like to see the process of you fixing it up.
Don’t see the harm in flipping it, definitely will give you a higher ceiling profit wise. Gotta keep these older cars on the road.
Wish i had deals as good as yours!
it's a good day when the islander drops a new video, been waiting awhile for this one. keep up the great work mate
Thanks buddy!
I would try to flip it. I think it's worth keeping it on the road, because it has not a lot of rust for a canadian car.
honestly I want to see you flip it but if it where me I would pull the engine to keep for the same exact car I can eventually find on marketplace with the only thing wrong with being a blown up engine and scrap the rest. doesn't matter what you do though I will show up to watch good luck keep up the great content!
Thanks!
So happy i found your channel, my favorite series right now. I'd say scrap the car and move on to quicker/better flips
I hope you keep this series going till you actually get a supercar! I say flip it!
Honestly I wouldn’t do all the extra work unless there was a significant value increase, like 4-5k net profit. Otherwise go the easy money route and look for the next project.

I like the idea of fix and flip but I would need to know costs and mileage first.
I think you would make more money scraping it. But I’d personally love to see you flip it
Fix and flip! Love the videos
You gotta scrap it, that exhaust manifold is more trouble than its worth
Flip it. Take a chance
That’s what I’m thinking!
Definitely worth the flip
You should look into a lav mic. The first part was hard to hear in the garage. Otherwise great video and loving the series!
Scrap it out and move on to the next one. Also, when you were unloading the vehicle, it looked like it was blowing black smoke out of the exhaust.
Ha ha love your video, good sence of humor and seems like a good man :)
Because I saw three of these models on your channel, scrap it. Try to sell the engine immediately. Also the wheels and other stuff. And then use the rest of it for other projects.
Hands down on how this guy hussle! 👊 bro
I love your series bro
Thanks!
Personally, if it were me, I would probably scrap the car and move on. But for content purposes, it might be interesting for you to fix it up and see how much of a profit you might be able to get from it. Up to you.
Fix n flip. There's enough crap in the scrap heap already. You've got the skills.
Maybe what you should start financing the flips for people too , take a deposit, $37.99 a week for 84 months , you get a few of those going you’ll have nice income coming in for that super car , plus the repo videos of you towing the cars home would be great too
Those car prices at the dealer and a dream in BC lol.
Pull good parts, and scrap then move on! Nice find
Best channel on RUclips hands down. Your content is super refreshing to watch.
Also, fix and flip
I think it is a cost/benefit analysis.

Love your videos! Fix and repair it!
It's a good day when you upload!!
Thanks!
In the end, you make the call, but I would definitely enjoy watching you repair and flip it! Either way, I'll be running in for the next video :)
new subscriber lol I flip cars, and I say flip it! the cons you listed is just simple things overall picture i see is the new engine in it and a huge profit of flipping it. and the body is really straight on it other than the little surface rust underneath it's a good flip
Yes, I’m going to be flipping this car! Just got a couple more parts to get
More money matters most and quick scrap makes money fast, however repairs are good for content, which is also good for money long term. Tough call
you can make more flipping it fs, car is in great shape you can get a lot for it
You have the skills, and space. Fix it and flip it.
I’d suggest keeping it for parts, I know you flip lots of Hyundais and that interior would be nice to swap if you get another with a bad interior. Engine you obviously gotta save too
You should do the one wich makes you more money!
Keep up the good work!
Very cool to see yall also using KM not only Miles. We Europeans get a bit salty with those things sometimes))). Anyways, pretty smart ways you get those cars, might also try to be honest. I'd say you should scrap the car, It's way too much and hard to repair imo. Wish you the best bro
fixer boi! ps Love the channel!
If you ask the Internet which option to take, it will always reply with the harder choice. Repair it!
I’d love it if you fixed it. But I have no idea how long it would take and the level of effort vs what you can make on it.
FLIP IT!!! I Love your videos by the way, and your family is awesome! Wishing you all the best!!
Thanks buddy!
Flip it! The series isn't scrapping cars til I can afford a supercar!
Flip it. You’ll make great $$$ Plus a way better video to watch. Hello from Australia by the way!
Hey! Thanks for watching!
The amount of rust and deterioration is incredible on modern cars. Built to be disposable
I'd really like to watch you fix and flip it, but I think the smart move is to scrap it. Is your goal to make it entertaining for us or to get the supercar as fast as possible?
Fix & flip it. More entertaining for your viewers + it will likely get you closer to that supercar
you prolly gonna make more flippin it
Fix it b’y, keep on keepin on keepin cars with no life left on the road… better for the planet!
part then scrap. I'm curious to see how much you'd get.
Fix and flip!!
Fix n flip babyyyyyy 😎
fix and flip!
you could scrap everything, make wayyy lore money then you bought it for especially if you put stuff like the tail lights and such on eBay also that engine with 10 km on it is worth at least $5-6,000

He got to keep running back to his camera lmao🤣
Flip it pls, do it for your subscribers :3
Fix and flip is my vote.
would take some work, but with the actual condotion of body, the interior, and brand new engine and brakes... sounds like profit
I'd like to see it flipped, and if it were me, that's what I'd do. When you say scrapping a car, do you mean parting it out? If you're going to get the max dollar (or loonie) out of it, you need to scrap every part. That takes a lot of time and space.
If you can still make 2-3k flipping it, flip it. Better content too. Otherwise, part it.
Please get yourself a wireless lavalier microphone. Now that you work indoors it helps a lot with canceling the echo and voice clarity.
Btw the Hyundai has a new engine because of a defect of the original one so that work was most likely done before it was traded in
This guy is so Canadian he almost sounds Irish
It sounds more like he is from New Zealand
@@tommyrold355 I'm from NZ and nobody here sounds like that. Def more irish
The easy money is on parting it out but the youtube algorithm would definitely prefer you to get it back on the road and in the hands of a grateful punter.
Scrap it but give a rundown on how you sell each of the parts
I’d like to see you flip it for the entertainment purposes but if you did scrap it, I’d love to see what you’d flip next!
Part it out.. by the time you fix all those items with time and parts profits will plummet
fix and flip, such good content
Don’t scrap. Fix n flip
Scrap it. Make money and move on to the next. Spend your time wisely. It's a valuable limited resource!
yessssss a new video!
you need to get a mic that goes on your shirt to stop the echo so the sound doesn't sound like crap. And make sure to get a sock for it. just get a cheap one til later
Fix it up!
So glad to find a RUclipsr close to me let’s make a video together one day 😂
I think you should flip it, you might just make more than expected
time is money scrap and keep what you can’t sell for future projects
i`m additcted to your videos!!! Amazing content bro ¡Fix and flip it!
Bro the last guy put a brand new engine in it and got rid of it. This is a car full of surprises that you just haven't discovered yet. Scrap it.
Seems like there will be more money in scrapping it, but probably also more work?
scrap for a quick profit if you have another car you can fix and flip if you cant find another fix n flip quick just fix that one
i would scrap it and take the profits to something more worth fixing for resale. easy 3x flip
I think you could make more money parting it out instead of fixing all the broken stuff.
