We bought a sail boat for this reason, In this episode we have the best sail yet from Benfleet yacht club to Brightlingsea Marina. We have our first night sail, and find a few more things to fix.

Hi Terry, great channel, I've only just come across it. Good to see that you're at Benfleet YC as it's great looking at some local views. I don't know if you know about the National Coastwatch Institution (I would like to think so as you did your training courses in The Solent), I am a watchkeeper at Canvey Island NCI located at the Island YC, Canvey Point so you'll always go past us when your going in and out of Benfleet Creek and Hadleigh Ray, anyway if you wanted a radio check or wanted to know what the weather conditions are like upto three miles off The Point going out towards Southend Pier then just call "Canvey Island NCI" on Channel 65 (our working channel) between 0800 and 1600, we also broadcast daily observed weather reports at 1000 and 1400. Can't wait for more videos!!

Hi David that is really helpful to know and I will be sure to radio check next time we passing. Boat is back In tomorrow and we are planning to head over to queen borough if they have space for us. 👍
