The ship also had a cat named Jenny. Little is known about her but one report states that she had kittens on the ship before it docked at Southampton- Jenny was reportedly seen carrying her kittens one by one off the ship, to dry land and then abandoning the ship. I like that ending for her better than going down with the ship.
When i will die one day i want to see Helen Bishops doggie happy with other dogs Btw if i was with my doggie in such a situation i would risk my life for her i would have sit her in the last boat because she is my baby and i love her
These "pets' were actually pure breeds owned by some of Society's best people, like the Rothschilds, for example...the dogs left in the kennels should've been let out and allowed their place on the lifeboats with their owners....is there anyone who TRULY believes some steerage dweller should've had any place on those lifeboats before a beloved pet of a 1st class passenger? Of course not, that would be ridiculous.
Sarcasm aside, would a pet have really taken up anymore room on a life boat? If the dog or the cat is in its owners lap, then it’s in the same seat as their owner, meaning it’s not taking up another seat. So it’s not an either or choice here.

After 110 years, this ship's demise still has lessons to teach us. RIP to all those who died that night.🕯🙏🕯

No cats? That's suprising.
