- If you love chocolate scones look no further. This recipe makes 8 beautiful, fluffy, chocolaty and flaky scones that are guaranteed to satisfy your craving.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 1/2 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt, 5 tbsp cold butter, 1/2 cup whole milk, 1 egg, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 cup mini chocolate chips

im making this right now! though im wondering why my dough came out wetter than yours in the video. did i not mix gradually enough?
If your dough is too wet you could add a little extra flour to fix that . Hope this helps!
@@quietkitchen1144 I was too impatient and baked them anyway lmao. I''m also nervous about mixing so much if i add more flour, that i lose the butter chunks or it becoming too tough. wet dough or not, they're super delicious! the right amount of sweetness and richness to have with some unsweetened coffee. They're lovely in both warm and chilled states. i'll keep practicing and adjusting, since most of the ingredients are usually on hand. (maybe without chocolate during practice since its a little pricey here) . thank you for sharing your recipe
