I could have swore in the video of LuigiKid, in one of the comments someone mentions that this exe is something like cannon compliant with the Fire Emblem Lore. In the sequel to Shadow Dragon, Hardin is manipulated by the Darksphere or something like that to be evil and Marth has to kill him. The idea is that this whole exe is happening in Hardin's head while its being manipulated by the dark magic. (the Fire Emblem you get here can also be an allegory to the Darksphere) If Marth kills us in the final battle it proceeds to show what happens normally in the original game, with the Darksphere being destroyed and Hardin dying as his mind is being freed. The ending you get by managing to kill Marth could be interpreted as Marth losing against Hardin and him getting trapped in his mind forever.
For ending 2 Hardin is corrupted by the Darksphere, one of the orbs of the Fire Emblem itself, this is meant to be the battle where Marth kills Hardin, Hardin’s last words say about how he is ‘finally free from his nightmares’ This ending Is Game Over
@twilightnight6283 I thought about that too! You are able to discard and trade it just like your unit's weapons although it sadly doesn't affect the game at all. It is labeled as an 'unusable' item and is erased like everything else after you defeat Marth. Missed opportunity if you ask me :(
@@mastamelon I'm surprised that doesn't do anything. I was expecting a new ending, like maybe the Fire Emblem you got was a fake and caused you to be put in that void after defeating Marth. Has the developer said anything else about the game?
@twilightnight6283 I like to think that the fire emblem is in the game to make it logical that Hardin and his team would have a fighting chance against Marth, even though it really does nothing in the game itself. It's not fake but exists solely to drive the narrative. I hate to admit that there doesn't seem to be any secrets or hidden features in the game. The developer initially intended to make the battle against Marth unwinnable, so we are lucky to have a 3rd ending at all... 😥 (the defeat cutscene is meant to be the canonical ending)
@@mastamelon In my defence I made this game in two months of semi-focused development with the intention of bamboozling people on april fool's day. I have thought of adding some obscure secrets to find as well but if I did that then I would want some way to communicate that it's possible and if I put one in it's possible no one will even find it or that people will stop caring about Marth.exe by the time i add it. The extra attention from the Luigikid video has already worn off. At this point I'd rather focus on the actual full game I'm making, Silver And Steel. But maybe I'll be struck by inspiration and come back to update the game or make another .exe game or something.
@Briver64 I absolutely understand man! Hidden secrets or no it was such a wild ride to explore the ins and outs of the game. The replayability was real and I don't think I've ever played a .exe game that captivated me as much as this one did! As a fire emblem fan I think this is the best .exe game for the franchise. It just works so well, consider me fooled! Thank you for the spooks, I look forward to playing your upcoming projects!
@dextertek9536 Nothing happens and the dialogue still goes on as if Nyna is still alive. Hardins' death is the only one that matters since it is how the canonical ending is triggered :(

Wow that changes my entire perspective on the game! It all makes sense nowww
It was the soul of Gharnef catching Hardin at his weakest moment.
The darksphere isn’t destroyed, it’s one of the gems needed for the fire emblem itself, Marth then picks it up and places it into said shield
So at the end of the day… We are just meant to lose.
@kauedasilva1072 How can you defeat an entity that already controls the game itself? Marth was just its puppet :(
@@mastamelon Weren’t there 3 possible endings in the game?
@@kauedasilva1072 Read the description of the video! I have theorized what the endings are
For ending 2
Hardin is corrupted by the Darksphere, one of the orbs of the Fire Emblem itself, this is meant to be the battle where Marth kills Hardin, Hardin’s last words say about how he is ‘finally free from his nightmares’
This ending
Is Game Over
Woah!! It all makes sense now!! :OO
Actually no. The second ending is when Hardin was corrupted by the Dark Sphere. And Marth killed him, so he freed his soul.
4:24 for the final blow!
Is it possible to discard the Fire Emblem? If so, that might open more possibilities for new endings.

Is this a mod of Vestaria Saga? Or did Kaga really just use all the default RPG maker elements?
@ryanhefner2011 the game was made with the SRPG studio engine. the dev didn't mention anything else 🤷
It's a SRPG game maker named SRPG Studio, Kaga used it to make Vestaria Saga actually
