$100,000 dollars for a piece of junk
There's one born every minute.
$100,000.00 for the ugliest truck ever made with a storm door warranty! How many people are drinking the kool aid?😎
Too many, unfortunately.
it is even build very cheap, this plastic covers break, leaks water when it rains bcs of poor design, absolute crap!.
The looney libs are "saving the planet" 😂😂😂😂
Couldn’t agree more👍
Many clowns in this parade
Tesla doomed. The truck is the last nail in their coffin. $100k paper weight
Elmo said that himself
Tesla doomed? how delusional can you be? Tesla doesn't need cybertruck to be a success.
I thought that was my line
Bang on. SHORT THE SHARE. You will make bundles in the next 2 years!
He did say they dug their own grave with the CyberTruck
It's not a leak, it's in water feature mode. If Enron Musk didn't know "more about manufacturing than anyone alive today", Tesla would never have been able to engineer this feature in.
Genius.
Enron Musk. lol. Elon is really burning every bit of good mojo he's earned, into the ground now. Tesla has to do better. Or it will go out of business very soon.
Lucky for Elon that Taiichi Ohno and Shigeo Shingo are dead. They were working on Toyota quality back in the 1960’s. Takeshi Uchiyamada, original Chief Engineer of the Prius, is still around. That had some novel electrical systems in it as well.
I must confess to admire the beauty of your comment.
I currently have a water feature in my living room, still trying to find where it's getting in.
Enron Musk....nice one 😂
I am so glad of Australias strict consumer laws. I'm glad this vehicle can't be registered here. What a pile of junk.
What's the issue they can't get sold in Australia? The lack of safety for pedestrians? Or the dangers against the passengers?
This car has so many issues, I'm just curious 😂
Elon; " At this point I know more about scamming Americans than anyone else on the planet"
What a first world problem, no one made these people buy trash, more money than sense.
tesla, and specifically the cybertruck is an IQ test that many didn’t pass.
Like guy who messed up his finger , he first tested it with a twig and in snapped , of course what you do , test with you own finger and expect different result ?
I dont look car lids and think do that stop before my fingers are messed up, i know there is no room for my fingers in a gap smaller than 1/2" .
Always risky buying the first run of any car or truck. But this SS POS is a cluster F.
A farmer in the middle of Australia had the axle break on his Bentley. Bentley sent the part and two mechanics to fix it. When the farmer rang Bentley to ask why they hadn't left a bill for him to pay Bentley said "Sorry sir, we don't know what your talking about. Bentley's don't break axles."
Tesla buyers deserve everything lol
No... Not true. Imagine you bought this as your dream-car...
Including getting the bird flipped at them for their blue-rich white LED headlights that are so horribly bright, even in broad daylight.
Recently saw a Dodge Cummins/Cybertruck towing comparison. Both trucks hooked to identical 8000 pound trailers. The Dodge averaged over 10 mpg, and took 10 minutes to refuel. The Cybertruck, after 85 miles, had a dead battery, and took 1 1/2 hours to recharge. The electricity to recharge cost more than the diesel. Imagine pulling a trailer and having to stop every 100 miles or less to recharge(assuming you can find a charging station). To make it worse, most times you will need to unhook from your trailer to get close enough to the charging port.
TFL is garbage. I am not a fan of the CT however:
90% of all personal 'truck' miles could have been done with a regular sedan or hatchback. Most CT owners are using them as regular cars for regular commuting only, not towing.
90% of all ev recharging events are done at home, at vastly cheaper electicity rates than at a public charger. Many ev owners have never charged at a public charger.
Recharge time wait is typically 0 as most evs are charged at home overnight and have a full tank the next day.
The diesel owner will have to go and fill up somewhere, and if the diesel personal truck is driven like most personal trucks are, ie, no loads, the the diesel will cost vastly more to own than an ev.
The TFL comparison is relvant to only a very few drivers.
I never thought of that. I instinctively knew there was something not right about driving up to the curb to charge rather than up to the side.
In perspective 75% of truck owners of all brands never tow anything. While towing is important to me and I have a Cummins, the vast majority truck owners don't care about towing. Those that do shouldn't buy an EV truck. But I have to comment on your electricity costs more than diesel comment. Horse shitaki. Also tesla charge stations are everywhere, about 100miles apart on every interstate. They are installing them at an even more rapid pace. having said that, it was 11 yrs after the Model T came out that the first drive in gas station was built and even longer before they were widely avail. They built them when their was enough demand. As for diesel, I was an early diesel carsin America adopter. I had a heck of a time finding a diesel gas station, virtually none on or near interstates. Few gas stations carried diesel. Now they all do. Such a double standard anti-evr's have.
The truck looks like it was designed using Minecraft.
By a nine year old.
Or on a etch a sketch.
Worse, late '70s Asteroid
Mine craft from the 90s
Or a 5 yr old.
Here’s the problem Tesla has with people who are considering buying a Tesla. Right now people are hearing about all the mass layoffs at Tesla, the fact that FSD is still not really FSD, the CEO wants a 56 billion dollar bonus and now a customer who bought a 100K Cybertruck was initially refused a repair on an almost new vehicle. So I have to wonder how all these negative Tesla issues will influence people considering buying a Tesla?
Not a bonus, he want's that as annual wage, but to be fair, it dose include bonusses. A REAL MAN OF THE PEOPLE.
Some of what u are saying is slightly off. I’ve never been a huge fan of Tesla but the problem for myself and some of my friends is the price point puts them in an arena where they can’t compete. The quality issues they have don’t fly at 6 figures plus and rarely occur at much lower price points. Layoffs and Elon wanting his compensation(not bonus) are not my concerns. It also important to understand the context/research and not make decisions based on what you simply hear. Now do I think Elon is screwing up too frequently, yes. However, the man had an agreement to receive 56 billion(mostly stock options) in compensation for a 10 year period when certain metrics were exceeded. According to their chair person he has exceeded those metrics. Now if I were him I’d probably pass on it. Maybe pump some back into the company. But thats for him and the fans of Tesla to worry about
There will be a lot more issues coming from this trapezoid
Of that I have absolutely no doubt.
I can think of an adjective that rhymes with trapezoid.
😂 not trapezoid
Once again we see Musk actually is not the guy who knows more about manufacturing than anyone currently alive on Earth.
But you have to agree you haven't seen anyone manufacturing something similar? 🤔🤪
Cyber truck=fools gold
My guess Tesla is claiming road damage.
In Australia this is covered under consumer law as " not fit for purpose " so there is no question of it being refused repair under warranty.
I'm sure the coolant is environmentally friendly right?
you can bet on it.
I expect it is the less harmful stuff. I don't think there is any that is not harmful at all.
This is not covered why??? Is it operator error, weather conditions, road damage or because Pluto an Neptune are on the far side of the Sun?
it's operator error for buying that atrocity in the first place.
It's a futuristic kitchen appliance on wheels. It scrapes, slices, and dices!
That’s exactly what you need when out in the wild doing camping 😂
I was legit excited for the Cybertruck, but I just couldn't get past the fact that a $100k truck can be defeated by an automated car wash. Think I'll just keep working on my '93 S-10.
My 2022 Subaru Forrester battery went bad last week. I took it in to the dealership and they replaced it for free. That is because they are a quality company..
Subaru is one of the highest quality cars out, real talk. You don't hear much about them because Subaru drivers are usually too busy STILL DRIVING versus sitting online talking about car issues they're having. LOL! I'm a mechanic and in all my years, I've maybe worked on 3 Subies...tuneups and basic stuff. Never a major issue. They're just not money-makers for shops because they don't break down.
TK, Hoovie’s garage has a cyber truck that leaks windshield washer fluid all over the frunk of his truck, and he just got it!
And it already had rust when it was delivered.
I can't believe that car even made it to production, it looks like Homer Simpson designed it 🤔
I didn't partake in elon's grape kool aid party. elon is going to have to add an F in front of his name -Felon!
WELCOME to The USA,!where anything is possible !!!!!
Tesla Customer Service HAD to know this would blow up on social media and the news. Or are they total morons?
35 miles… should have been, “oh my gosh! I’m so sorry! We’ll send a tow truck immediately, take it to the shop and give you a loner! Would you like a cybertruck as a loner, or one of our other vehicles?”
Warranty on a new vehicle is required by law, it's not something the dealer can withdraw at their whim.
A $100000 rust bucket is now the new Edsel!
A battery coolant leak is a safety hazard for being a fire danger.
Tesla is not backing up the product THEY JUST MADE!! It is BRAND NEW!! SO MANY videos out there about how many headaches their products are. I'd never buy a Tesla because the company apparently is making crap, and they don't stand behind their product. No way!!
And on top of that, Elon is so unpredictable, and changes his mind on a whim. That says to me, don't put my money into their products because I'll end up regretting it, and have a life full of headaches.
It's funny; you spend $100,000 on a new car, and yet an older cheaper used car costing say $10,000 is far more reliable.
Kinda plays DeLorean on a magnificent stock sale.
Deloreans work lol. Teslas....not so much .
How Tesla got away with making a vehicle with so many knife sharp edges on it when every other vehicle manufacturer is held to a much different standard is very bizarre issue. All the other problems just make this a real no thank you.
It's the new feature that when a demon 170 comes close to it, it pisses itself. The whole rear end "Squats" 😂😂😂
There is a fantastic video of a guy testing the security system on self closing hatches by putting his finger in the gap. Sorry there is no security feature he found out the painful way, it almost cut his finger off, 🤔
With sales declining, and for the prices they charge for these so-called trucks, you'd think Tesla would be kissing customer's asses after the sale.
Not a good look Tesla.
Just crazy! Thanks for the video.
Many years ago I had a Saab that needed an engine repair under warranty. They covered everything but the fluids. I had to pay for them myself.
Bankruptcy watch 2024 has been fun... all by Elon's own hands
Not important. He will just carry on with other projects.
Can you imagine what the hell is in the CyberTruck owner's manual 😂
You should do the right thing because its the right thing to do, even if its the least expensive model.
COME ON- What do you guys expect for 130 Grand plus tax? Be lucky you have such a head turner and dont sweat the little things,,,,,,,!!!!
Doing the right thing from the start requires integrity, which is in exceedingly short supply, these days.
Unless there was evidence of collision damage, I can’t fathom how this wouldn’t be a valid warranty claim.
Tesla is a technology company that happens to make vehicles. Not a car manufacturer that employs technology. Huge difference.
A technology company that does NOT make tech. All their tech is bought from other companies, up to and including the batteries. At best you can claim that the software is Tesla's.
That part!
Hey, at least they can make the the horn sound like a goat.
Not the airco? Just asking.
Anyways... I have seen one that had wiperfluid leaking just through the left side, into something soft isolating there, of the Cybermuck..eh... truck.
The cyberturd truck is just nervous 😂
LOL. No battery warranty, if V2H and some odd pillows getting wet from windshield wiper fluid under the frunk. Now this?
PS: heatpump failures are quite prevalent on Model Y. Maybe they have the same issue in Cybertruck? Has to tow, about $3 000 to repair (in Model Y case).
Good Video Mate👍🇦🇺🍺
This will never be allowed in the EU.
Buy a Big Mac box and put wheels on it. Same concept.
It is so disappointing what happened to telsa. 2012 was the model S a revolution, they had the best charging network, but the dear leader ruined it all.
Expensive lesson 😅😂
My Ford Raptor was bumper to bumper for 72 months warranty, everything oem covered from workmanship or part failure. Same price range, but mine is not ugly
Imagine how smart you have to be to buy this piece of crap.
Hi 👋 from the UK my royal enfield meteor 350 has a 3 year warranty and it was less than 5 grand new on the road 😊
BYD I understand and hear is thinking of making a huge factory in Mexico to sell its 11 grand electric cars to North America,> What could go wrong!!!!
They really should make that factory within the US. Then they wouldn't be imported cars at all.
Did she or he run over something? Factory defect?
Tesla specifically said coolant leaks aren’t covered user warranty. That means at all, for any reason ever.
A failure of customer service on a $100,000 purchase is beyond nightmarish as it kills brands as when it gets to critical mass... you have destroyed the trust the customer gives you. And that is damn hard to recover.
Why do I feel like Tesla and Apple are so much alike.
No my apple phone has worked for years with no problem and they honor their warranty.
Well Apples are expensive but they generally work well and have excellent build quality. Teslas OTOH
I’m hoping all issues are solved by the time I get mine, after 800000 trucks before my turn.
No warranty???????😮😮😮😮😮
Sadly a lot of dealerships and manufacturers take a perverse delight in fighting warranty claims. I am sure somewhere in their warranty T&Cs is a disclaimer on fluids/consumables which they are misusing. A bit of common sense needs to be applied, the coolant would not have leaked out if the vehicle was properly assembled. Irrespective of the price point there are basic expectations of what a vehicle should do, if this went to court I suspect Tesla would lose.
It's not going to be a problem here in the UK because it's not road legal here.
I hate that they call the company "Tesla".
Nicola Tesla would never endorse such stupidity.
itwas upsetting but the cust service fixed it. And the hole drilled was on the electric pedal, not gas pedal.
When you drink so much of Elon’s Kool-Aid that it even leaks from his cars.
For $100,000+ you can get smething really, really nice.
Just launch a lawsuit and then get to the back of the line.
Tata and Mahindra have made sub $10K EV pickups in India - which are picking up fast!
To all the experts posting about there being no coolant, here's the TESLA site Procedure (found immediately)
Place the vehicle into Service Mode.
Unlock the vehicle Gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate to Service Mode > Thermal > Refrigerant System.
Touch Start Thermal Fill Drain (Coolant + Refrigerant) and allow the routine to complete.
Open the powered frunk.
Remove the coolant bottle cap.
Install vacuum refill tool onto coolant bottle assembly.
Place empty coolant container into front storage area.
The Cyber Truck looks like a prison toilet on wheels.😅😅
What’s wrong with people thinking their $100,000 pos should come with a warranty
Elons word is all you need 😂😂😂
An Edsel with no warranty…imagine that🥴
I am happy you reported on this issue, Now, I will never buy any Tesla product.
I saw one the other day, now I know what it is because I really didn't know... Driving a tuna can lol
A 79 Vega has more style and is more reliable, a pinto or a old citation would even be better 😂
Tesla think of themselves as a software company. So coolant is not part of a software and not part of warranty.
There's always more room for grants and subsidies. Maybe Tesla can open a TeraFactory in the Ukraine or Gaza.
Junk 🙄Thanks for sharing
Warranties and repairs are a joke. I have a Craftsman riding mower. Getting a human to talk to me is hard enough. But I ended up taking it in for a warranty on a $20 part. The first time the shop did nothing. Sent it back, they fix the $20 part and add THIRTY ENGINE HOURS onto my mower. The machine had less than 150 hours and they added 30 more... To replace a very simple part. I might file a complaint with the FCC or something because Craftsman and the shop sure as shi- don't care.
I think the Cybertruck has the potential for the most resale loss yet on a Tesla vehicle. I dont think the design will age well and they are set to go into larger production scale so that will cause price drops also.
I'm still wondering when I get my royalties for the truck I drew in 3rd grade?
Tell the potential customer just have an e90 3 series or b8 a4 & be happy
The old more money 💰 than sense.
Or they know things you cant possibly comprehend.
So unlucky! The warranty only covers you for driving 35 feet (enough to get you off the showroom forecourt).
I would not want a truck that just came out, I would like it after it has been out a couple of years.
Because fixing it requires replacing the e tire battery pack...
Tesla is not known for excellence in quality build like Honda Toyota Mazda
These people got 100% of what they paid for 🤣.
If Tesla won't stand behind their products - especially one that attracts a lot of attention and costs a lot of money - they won't be in business much longer.
Wow! Good work!
Behold! The Tesla CyberLemon! What a waste of stainless steel.
My Ford Ranger has 5 years or 150.000kms warranty
I see class action lawsuit in the near future!
Always one unhappy camper. I do not believe we are being given the full story.
It shouldn’t have come to this point in the first place, no excuses Tesla.
