  • Testing out the Tractive Closed Cartridge suspension after more changes, seems there are more problems which I think I have identified.

I’m glad you made this video. Now I know not to buy this suspension 👎🏻 so sad you have to deal with that suspension and customer service 🤮

I wouldn’t necessarily dismiss the suspension entirely. I have it set up again now and seems very impressive but I’m hesitant to say anything until I have tested it further. I’ve only really used it on the road, Ive a quick update video I’ll put out this week but I’ve been sick so wasn’t able to do much. A friend has the same suspension but +25mm and absolutely loves it. We both bought it from off-de-road however and both of us have had horrible customer service experiences from them and swore not to purchase from them again. Maybe look at other dealers, Tractive or Rally Raid seem to be good from what I hear. But honestly nothing beats being able to walk into a business and have the suspension set up by the people selling it to you. So if that’s possible in your area do that 100%

Good luck with it. Suspension can be a very dark rabbit hole once you dive in.👍

Ye it’s a nightmare, made even worse with the guy I go to being so far away. Hopefully when we take them apart and rebuild it will be the end of this 🤞🏼

@@ogasi1798 I bought them from a crowd in the Netherlands, rally-motor.nl
If you search for Rottweiler mirrors you will find them. You need to drill holes in your hand guards and then they screw into place. Handy job, just make sure you measure twice and drill once haha

i just bought the +25mm CC fork and rally shock from rally raid UK. the shock im happy with but the forks not so much yet. still dialing it in to be soft enough for rough terrain but stiff enough for hard hits. also find its not actually using up all 225mm travel

Welcome to my world 😂 The springs will definitely become a bit softer over a couple of spins as they ‘bed in’. Best of luck with it

what a f'in mare you had getting that suspension - it should not be hard at all, done so many bikes over the last 30 years and i never had shi7e like you, fingers crossed it is all good for you moving 4ward - hey those mirrors, do they fasten to the wraparound? have you got a link for them ?

Honestly it’s not so much the suspension as it has been the dealer. ‘Off de road’ have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in my life. They have been the main problem since day one with misinformation and making mistakes they’re unwilling to rectify.
