      Thank you for your comment, we don’t give in on big bikes. The truth is that we rode through tracks like this on KTM 950 Adventure bikes so Tenere feels pretty good out there 👍🏻

      @@HeavyEnduroAdventures nice trails! I noticed that you get a lot of front wheel deflection. Maybe play with the clickers to soften the front compression a bit. Are these the Boano 48mm forks with 295mm travel?

    • @HeavyEnduroAdventures
      @HeavyEnduroAdventures  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@C_R_O_M________suspension is set well it’s just larger obstacles in slower runs once I fit the steering dampener it will take care of most of that to be fair. The forks are customised order fro T-tech suspension in UK with 265mm travel you can run all standard parts with that set and yes is 48mm

    • @C_R_O_M________
      @C_R_O_M________ 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@HeavyEnduroAdventures thanks for the tip (T-tech suspension). P.S. Went to their site but couldn't find any related product (just internal cartridges) for the forks? Were those 48s a special order?
      Update: never mind, found them on FB and your post.
      I still think that there's a lot of room for improvement for that front and the way it deflects your front wheel.
      Maybe the springs you put for your weight at the front are too hard.
      I am a HW (and VERY tall 206m) at 120kgs and what I found working with my 500EXC is STANDARD springs for the front and a harder spring rear for my weight (with forks at the lower position in the triple clamp - the front in the most upright position).
      When heavy/tall riders sit on the seat the bike changes geometry and a softer front makes all the difference in the world when you are riding trails like those in the video.
      Standing up is a little different but you are better off with a softer front in the hard than a super stiff one.
      Unless you are in a MX track and want to jump the bike all the time which I don't think is a plausible scenario. Soften your front and see how it goes.

    • @HeavyEnduroAdventures
      @HeavyEnduroAdventures  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@C_R_O_M________front is actually quite plush as it’s 6.0 spring its a bit of a compromise for me it’s kind of set to accommodate the all terrain rather then me playing with clickers. I am quite guilty of “set and forget” when it goes down to suspension 😅

    In March I will be driving the Tet Portugal myself, which tire did you use there?
    Atm im have the Bridgestone Ax41, but thinking of a more aggresive one would be better, for arround 70% offroad?

    • @HeavyEnduroAdventures
      @HeavyEnduroAdventures  5 месяцев назад +1

      I was running mitas e09 and to be fair if the weather is dry you can probably get away with your tyres as there is plenty of grip available however if it gets wet it might not be so good.
      If you like tough trails Portugal definitely has a few of them 😉
      Thanks
