G35 Installing Akebono brakes ( refurbished by power stop)

  • I ran into a problem with the adapter that converts the brakes to work on the g35 or 350z, the holes did not line up and i had to modify it to work.

      Ya it took a minute huh? But i think it's worth it , i love mine. Only thing is it sits alot lower than the stock one so it need to raise my car up a lil bit.

      @@1cleang898 Yeah, took 5 months man. Can’t wait to install it; but now I have to remove existing rusty exhaust bolts from the headers to my first test pipe. I hope they can be removed.

    By anychance do you know if they powerstop logo is just a sticker? I personally would rather remove it but never saw them in person. Thanks

    Im thinkin about getting these on my g37x .. how are they so far?

      Pretty good but for some reason they are not as sensitive as the ones on my 370z even tho they are the same setup. I've bleed them countless times. I have absolutely no problems stopping just wish they were as sensitive as my z.

    I have r1 concepts drilled and slotted, I take it these calipers wont work on those?

      I've seen those before but i can't remember the spec of them. If they are a factory replacement of the smaller non big brake kit then no.
