Ya both . Not bad at all but there is actually a small amount of drone at low to mid range rpm ( haven't drove that car in a while so can't remember exactly what rpm but not long) . I like this exhaust for DD because it isn't obnoxious or raspy and has a deeper tone to it ( doesn't sound like a typical vq but gives you something to hear. I don't regret it at all, hope this helps

Pretty good but for some reason they are not as sensitive as the ones on my 370z even tho they are the same setup. I've bleed them countless times. I have absolutely no problems stopping just wish they were as sensitive as my z.

They also have one without the resonators that is probably a bit louder than these but i would imagine it would have some rasp

Boosted you'll run into problems forsure, N/A you would probably be ok but honestly stock is better. I found this out the hard way. I've heard of people running spal fans in the mishimoto fan shroud with good results.

Yes exactly. These type (leslie) of funnels help tremendously as well making it the highest point.

@@1cleang898 i did BUT I got my mishimoto fans now just ain't install. I will be installing them summer time. Also! I will be doing. Like going over with detailed information on everything I've done to my car already this past summer.

FYI stock fans are better but you shouldn't have any issues with the mishimoto as long as you don't plan on boosting it. Had to got back to stock after i boosted it which sucked because i had already got rid of the stock ones and the mishimoto looked so good.

Probably a metal one not the one that comes with it because it looks very low quality, although it's still working fine on mine so far..... sorry didn't get a good angle on the hangers but i believe i just used all the old hangers for the new exhaust. I think once you get under there it'll be easier than you think but if you get stuck i can look at mine and walk you through it .

Drone isn't bad at all. That's why i got the one's with the resonators, but they also sell ones without and have burnt titanium tips.

@@lucasd172 It's definitely an upgrade from the stock ones but to be honest the ones on my 370z have a much firmer brake pedal, which is strange because they are the same setup. Maybe dont get the remanufactured ones.

I've seen those before but i can't remember the spec of them. If they are a factory replacement of the smaller non big brake kit then no.

410whp rt now tuned conservatively. By what's my build if you mean just power wise / supporting mods Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer , Motordyne mrev2 lower plenum , Motordyne tdx2 shockwave catback, motordyne art test pipes, z speed street clutch, 54? Row z1 setrab oil cooler, air / fuel ratio , oil pressure, and boost gauges, vortech v3 tuner supercharger kit, cjm fuel return stage 2, 1050 IDX injectors, 450 walbro pump, 1 step colder spark plug, on e85 . Probably a bunch of stuff im forgetting.

Damn dude you are setup to at least touch 550-600+ with those injectors! Is your block stock? I have pretty much the same supporting mods minus the v3 and fuel system. I’m running a revup with forged internals. It’s in the shop now getting C8 cams. Cant wait. Are you lsd diff or welded, Do you daily is the reasoning for super conservative tune or protecting the internals?

@@gemargordon6885 Just stock rev up block rt now which is why it's conservative but next big purchase might be forged internals and haltech ecu.... just on stock lsd right now . How much whp is your setup pushing rt now? And what are you expecting with the new cam setup?

@@gemargordon6885 only wanted to buy stuff once which is why i went a bit over on the fuel system, and its just one of my weekend toys just didn't want to blow it up rt away

@@1cleang898 I haven’t dyno’d it yet but my tuner said I should be around 275, that’s a good logic on not having to buy multiple times. I’ll have to use that for my logic on porting the heads while I have it open.

Ya it was at one point . Think it was because the muffler was twisted slightly in the middle of the exhaust causing everything else to be a little bit tweeked. Because i only jacked the car up enough for me to climb under and put on it was hard to tell until i got it onto a lift.

@@MannyVQ well if it's the same as mine was, loosen the v band clamp from the y pipe and twist that muffler ("box / suit case " i guess they call it) and that should slightly change the angle of the piping near the sway bar. You may have to loosen some of the other v bands as well.

Yes it fits both , but yes you need the 8in adapter for the g35 coupe. Not sure about fitment on the sedan.

And do you have to buy new radiator hoses?or stock ones where fine?

@@daddybrandon3241 think i got both off Amazon, and stock hoses should be fine.

No because the 350z is a little different , i believe the cap is in the middle as well.

This setup i did in this video ended up not working for my car after i boosted, so i went back to stock. Not sure if you'd be interested but i was planning on selling this for half price. Damn near new only put maybe 100 miles on or so and fan is modified alrealy to fit g35 coupe.

@@oloruntobaunuigbey1998 nope still got it, never really listed it for sale. If you want it I'll sell for half price but you pay for shipping? It's in great shape just didn't do the research and doesn't work well for boosted cars, but when it was NA it was perfect.

@Beliefacy I had offers up to $20k for the whip. Because of the rarity of the spec. But, I bought it to enjoy it. I believe these cars will go up in value.

@Beliefacy I'm at 64k now! Just replaced rear hub/bearing both sides. Replaced stock radiator with an all aluminum one. The G is running great

Glad this was helpful. Not sure if you are replacing with a OEM radiator or aftermarket, but if you plan to boost your car this mishimoto fan setup did not end up working out for me. Will be making update soon.

Love it. Much faster, like the way it should have been from factory 😆. Rob did a great job and ended up fixing some of my mistakes and a clutch that i had paid someone else to do that did a shitty job and almost blew up my tranny 😡.

@@1cleang898 Aah hell yeah dude, yeah I'm really clueless because I like the sound of the belt drivin turbo more than an actual turbo spool. Damn lol, did you build you engine? Also hm psi are you running now?

@@rayflower1915 no haven't built engine which is part of the reason i went s/c. If you built your engine got a t trim s/c with full bolt ons and the rt cams you could probably achieve that power goal but i think it would cost more or the same with less capability of power than turbo in the long run.

Ya it fit with a little modification, but found out the hard way the fan cant keep up with a/c on after being boosted, had no problems before.... alot of people i heard were keeping the shroud and adding spal fans. Planned on doing an update on this soon.

So i just went for a drive so that i could give you the most accurate response that i can. So ya there is some drone it just depends what gear and speed your going. In six gear going 65 - 70 at 2 - 2.5k rpm there was some drone but nothing to where i couldn't hear my passenger easily. When i was doing 75 - 80 in six gear at 3k rpm there wasn't any drone or really any other noise at all, seem thats the sweet spot for cruising. Personally i love the exhaust and none of the noises bother me but it's not my DD.

Oh and thats with the art pipes now, it's been a while since i had stock cats on but im sure it's alot less with just the catback.

@@1cleang898 ok , was there any difference from with cats vs the md pipes? Power or sound? How much hp gain just with the oem cats? And how much louder did it get with the art pipes?

@@solace4114 honestly i didn't feel much of a difference in power with either. Without a tune it's more for the sound. With just catback it was pretty loud in the higher rpm but with a real good sound, with the art pipes u can keep the sound down if you keep it 1-3 rpm's, above that it screams especially 5.5k to redline. Oh and the art pipes add a little rasp but not as bad as others IMO.

Ya it took a minute huh? But i think it's worth it , i love mine. Only thing is it sits alot lower than the stock one so it need to raise my car up a lil bit.

@@1cleang898 Yeah, took 5 months man. Can’t wait to install it; but now I have to remove existing rusty exhaust bolts from the headers to my first test pipe. I hope they can be removed.

Stillen Gen3 Intakes---Aftermarket Throttle Body--Spacer if needed---Intake Plenum---Plenum Spacer---Spark Plugs & Wires---Fuel Rail---Injector(next size up from stock) Motordyne Art test pipes with Motordyne Dual Exhaust---I also heard Cams and Pulleys would be good too.

Honestly i have no idea you would have to add it all up for the amount , you could do most of that yourself but for the cam you would most likely need to take it to a shop . You would also need to get a tune to really see any horse power, and mandatory if you get the cam. You also have a vq35hr engine which can handle from what i've heard up to 600hp on the stock block. Not sure what your reason is not wanting to go FI but if i had that your car (with the HR) and could do it all over i would skip all the NA mods and just put a single turbo and other supporting mods. Think that would be best bang for your buck HP. As for how much HP for the mods you want i really have no idea, you would have to find people that have already done those exact mods with that engine to get an idea.

It's the sway bar/ anti roll bar, it's part of your suspension, i upgraded to the eibach one. Phone holder is suction cup one by the brand andobil, found it on amazon about a year ago for $20 and still works good.

Honestly i think i have too many mods without a tune so i feel it hesitate at some rpm's now that i put them on. If you put them on and didnt have any other mods it may give you a little bit of extra hp and torque, but you really have to get a tune to see any change.
