No graffiti. Litter-free streets. No hooligans blocking the sidewalks. No unhoused drug addicts living in encampments... I've never been to China, so I can only judge things from videos like these. And I'm not gullible enough to think that this is heaven or that everything is perfect -- I'm sure there are people living in destitution, and many who suffer in different ways. But this seems like a beautiful, functional city to me. I could only dream of my hometown Toronto being like this.
Well, Wang does show poorer neighborhoods also. But, is the apparent affluence and conformity to rules and regulations proof of a healthy and just society? Is there free press? Is the judicial system fair? Is there equality in access to education and healthcare? How are minorities treated? All of this is not directly apparent

At 7:34 there is a sign which I try to understand as I learn Chinese. It says 水煮蛙朱老伍 . I don't really understand it: Water boiled frogs, red old 5 (pieces?). Who can help me?

True, graffiti are the most eye-soring, representing urban destitute, however, some ppl in States here view it as art. smh
