I’m carnivore. I had three eggs with a slab of cheddar yesterday at 8 pm. It was a weird day. Right now, it’s almost 4 pm next day and I realize that I’m just now starting to think about dinner - and I realize I haven’t eaten all day. 😳 Carnivore is incredibly satisfying to me. Sugar and snack addictions totally gone.

I have naturally only eaten a small amount of meat. I decided to try this yesterday and ate a big-ish steak and braised cabbage for lunch. Wow! I could not believe how satiated and disinterested in food I was for the rest of the day, and even the next morning, so didn't need to start eating until later. I am a big snacker so it was a win-win for me to not consume any junk food. I am continuing this to see how long the feeling lasts.

Veganism is generally defined as living in a way that avoids consuming, using, or exploiting animals as much as realistically possible. While this leaves room for individual preferences & barriers, the overall intent is that minimal harm is done to animals through life choices. My friends don’t care what they eat as long as there’s no animals involved. Oreos & margaritas are vegan! 😂

Was never overweight and was marathon runner and ultramarathon for 20 years. Have not had any fiber during the 12.5 months. In my opinion fiber is during a lot of harm to a lot of people and they are not even aware of it. I have watched my body close for the last 50 years and know what works and what don't work. Carnivore does work and it make sense as to why it works. I am 87 years old and just finished 52 minutes of strength training today. I can say this, breathing is not living but just staying alive. Don't have time or space to talk about all of the positive changes since I went carnivore. I have said enough for today.

What each of us has is the experiment within our own body. Not some influencer that has been doing a diet in their 20’s and “feels great’ after two weeks. If your body is not functioning optionally, if modern disease is appearing, if you have low energy, if you are not mentally sharp, you are eating the wrong foods. Again, this is a years long result not two weeks, nor some confusing array of misinterpreted studies paid for by food industry and government.
I’ve followed the conventional dietary advice and over the years my health has declined. With neurological muscle problems, I have been stunned to find how much eating ruminant meat and eggs has lessened my need for medication. Meat doesn’t just build bone and muscle, in combination with animal fats it is the backbone of the structure of our nervous system. I take a medication that scares most doctors and need a significant amount to just be able to walk and breathe. Every time I try carnivore I can take less of this medication. I’m at the point where I’m going 100% carnivore for life as I’m done experimenting on myself and finding every other way of eating worsens my condition.

Can anyone name even one member of plantae that can even remotely come close to the nutrients necessary for animalia that is available by one measly egg? Think about it. The egg is a self-contained life support system containing all the minerals and nutrients necessary to create a fully functioning, live chicken in all it's complexity and biological systems of flesh and blood.
Plantae are a completely different Kingdom of living organisms, completely unlike animalia. The egg is one example of an animal sourced superfood. No plant or combination of plants is a suitable replacement for the "Proper Human Diet" which is animal products. This is why 84% of vegans abandon this food paradigm within five years.

    • @anthonychaffeemd

Humans have only been eating plants in any quantity for at most 10,000 years, and that's only in certain areas. Up until the 20th century the Plains Indians are nearly exclusively wild bison, were the tallest population on Earth, and extremely healthy. Now, they are not. Same goes for the Australian aboriginals. For millions of years we've been eating meat. Since the pre human era, our ancestors have been eating meat.
A balanced diet is one that has a perfect balance of all essential nutrients, in the proportion you need them. That's meat. A fatty steak is a perfectly balanced diet. The only balance you get from adding in plants is a balance of health meat and poison from plants.

    • @JamesJones-gj1ii
      @JamesJones-gj1ii 7 месяцев назад

@@anthonychaffeemd only 10,000 years ? That’s a long time , definitely long enough to evolve eating plants and animals. And I agree they might have been primarily meat eating as they followed the herds but they definitely ate fruit and vegetables while they were in season along the way. That follows nature and normal human behavior. It’s balanced. Yes there are some pockets of people who eat even less fruits and veggies but the opposite is true as well. The point is this binary level of thinking is wrong. Additionally meat is only as good as the stuff they eat. So again if we are promoting what is healthy we need to consider what they are eating.

Would it be possible Anthony, to have a print out of a history of diet guidelines with citations to appropriate studies debunking the food pyramid SAD diet with links to scientific studies that support a high fat high protein diet - for the purpose of patients being able to present it to their health practitioners, to then be able to say to them - you produce your evidence to support the guidance you are giving me. Like a timeline, presented in a very simple way? I would be happy to pay a fee for an online or printable summary of your evidence and fact-based rationale for people so that it can be given to family or professionals, to be when they protest and bully carnivores. Or simply when they have questions.
I get though that it's very confrontational. There is such big money in "solving" disease. Carnivore is such a simple solution that it radically disrupts multiple industries. From agriculture to food processing, the whole medical profession, insurance providers, etc etc as well as research grants, universities etc.
A simple pamphlet, ebook? That people can be armed with to share with friends, family, doubters of all kinds including professionals would help a lot to support individuals making a choice that people are conditioned to find very threatening. It would help deal with the pushback

@@cynthiam1381 Just because we have eaten meat for a long time doesn't mean much. We ate WHAT WAS AVAILABE, before we learned how to preserve food, before we had refrigerators, etc. Plus the meat then was much more nutrient dense. Buffalo and cattle ate grass. Most Western cattle now is grain fed.

No wonder people are so confused. Just for some giggles I checked the heart rating of the bacon I was about to cook. A 1 star rating, so I checked the Milo cereal which my son insisted on buying, and too my surprise it has a 4 star rating. It's absolutely criminal

Weren't people advised to take in fiber to slow the spike in glucose and lower cholesterol?

Cholesterol is very essential in our body. It's a precursor for sex hormone delivery and needed by our cells

@christinagutierrez817 I agree. I was simply sharing what I have heard in the past about the need for fiber. I'm keto/carnivore.

Correct, fiber does slow absorption which will reduce a sugar spike. However the total insulin secreted over time actually remains the same. The other issue is that fiber slows or prevents absorption of vitamins and minerals. I think it's not a coincidence that when people listen to their bodies, they resist more than 20 to 30 grams of fiber a day. More than that will result in gi problems and nutrition deficiencies.

Yea - the "red meat" the people in the studies were eating might have been processed pink sausages and commercial burger patties - which is like going vegan to eat cake and doritos.

The debate on the ideal diet is ever continuing. There are advocates & naysayers from all across the spectrum - from high meat to high vege. I guess it will continue for a long long time. In the meantime, how about sharing your thoughts on this video?
