Hi Paul, my gear for the fishing methods I use is very minimal, I don't over complicate it and keep it simple.

Why jetsky over the boat? I was looking at stabicraft 1450, but learned about jetskys...now learning more...i wonder how it does in 4-6ft swells, itll be a wet ride and in west here, ocean water is 53F, so cant do it without a wet suit

Great video overview of the Fish Pro... At the 6:57 mark when you talked about the trailer I had to re-play that a few times to make sure you were saying Aluminum (a·lu·mi·num) trailer... I'm sorry, but it sounded really funny when you said it. I'm sure us American's say some things that sound very funny to you too. It's all good, it just took my by surprise.

Hey Andrew. I ordered a 2024 fish pro Trophy. It should arrive in December. My daughters said dad we live on a lake and we don't have a Jet-Ski. So I thought that if I could get one that the kids can have fun on the lake in. And dad can do what he wants to do then this might be a win win situation. I'd be fishing in the Gulf in Texas. I'm pretty excited about it.

Great content as always. I will definitely order some mounts, the fish bag and some other gear from you after I order my ski. I'm still curious about your thoughts about installing hypalon tubes on the sides of the ski. You haven't done it so I'm guessing you don't think it's necessary even for very rough conditions, but I would love to hear your thoughts about it. 🙏🏻
Thanks for taking time to watch my videos, it’s always pleasing to hear viewers are enjoying them. As far as the hypalon tubes, it’s something I’ve yet to desire as I’m generally happy with the overall performance and look of the FISH PRO as it sits. I am conscious I also don’t want to limit the agility and performance of the stock hull, but wouldn’t mind trying a ski modified at some stage to see what benefits the tubes bring…

@@ernk75 delivery ETA will depend on which region in the globe you are and how bigger wait list the dealer has… In New Zealand it was a few months of patiently waiting for many buyers but most are receiving their units now in time for our summer.

I personally is a high wattage, floating, waterproof handheld. Guys who fish more remote with less signal, add 25 watt fixed VHF units. They can be hardwired and the handset can be mounted around the sounder area…

Hi have the audio on my latest FISH PRO, it’s very impressive how well it goes and is very easy to control your music through the right hand controls. I tend to use the audio on my long rides, not so much for when I’m fishing… I too like the silence for catching the fish 😄
Thanks for the video. How do you anchor in deeper water? Is there some time of handle in the storage bin to tie an extra rope to the attach the anchor? Since you can’t really the actual front of the ski to tie the anchor from there. Thanks
Hi Juan, I personally don’t anchor for my fishing… all my fishing is drifting, it’s easier and more practical for on the FISH PRO

Hi Andrew, any experience and comments on whether a roller or bunk/skid type trailer for these jetskis? These Futura trailers look good.
I personally prefer roller, the rears must pivot to work effectively when you retrieve with little water. Also guide poles are really important, makes for easy of handling when by yourself with tidal currents. The Futura is quickly proving a popular trailer in the NZ market, I have been helping with its development.
Could you pls do a video (sharing the screen) on doing the map upgrade you mentioned as I have tried three times now unsuccessfully on my 2022 fishpro (which i am extremely impressed with after coming from an FXHO. Cheers

Hi Jeremy, there are a few aerated live well kits that fisherman use, it wouldn’t be to hard to add a switched 12volt kit to your cooler for that scenario 👍

Hi Richie, the cover will easily fit with the alloy plate and StarPort, you will need to have the GoPro Adapter or Navigation Light removed while using the cover…

Thanks for the video Andrew. Just taken delivery of a 22 FishPro Sport. Are there any products you use to protect the finish of the ski from UV, etc? Do you use/recommend something like 303 protectant or a particular marine wax? Thanks.
You will be loving the Sport! I personally don’t add any extra protection. It could be worth looking at the BRP XPS products at your Sea-Doo dealer or adding a ceramic coating 👍
Love it however I need to keep out the sun. Any kind of stretch shade cloth covering ? For protection .Umbrella of sorts ?
I haven’t seen any retro fit shade covers available yet, the owners in Florida having been making some DIY versions though👍

The instructions say there is a dual ventura system to scavenge any water that may get in the bilge while driving, do you know how many gallons/Litrs it can remove at speed.
I have installed a seperate fully automatic electronic 500GPH Rulemate Mod RM500B, bilge pump running directly from second battery through 4amp fuse.
Thinking about rerouting the ventura pipes to both footwells to keep them dry?
Yes you are correct about the bilge system working while driving, good you have enhanced your system for your needs. I doubt the concept will work adding it for the footwells as it defeats the purpose wile at rest is when you would really want them fully drained and on the move they naturally drain most water on accelerating… I look forward to hearing what modifications you make 👍

I would love to buy a fish pro one day , the one thing that holds me back is the sun ☀️ . we have very hot water in Malta and I have a very fair skin and I get burned very easily. I wish you can come out with a great idea for sun protection something something like a bimini top that protects you from an afternoon of fishing in the summer sun. thanks my friend and may God bless you.😊
Hi Duncan, thanks for watching my videos, the Sea-Doo FISH PRO sure is an amazing craft and you can use it for all types of activities. As far as sun protection, we either use SPF50 sun protection clothing or in North America some owners have purchased aftermarket Bimini tops 👍

Hi Andrew, how do you connect the white fishing bag thanks
My Ultimate Catch Bag has long grey straps at each end, one end ties to the factory FISH PRO side cleat above the side bumper and the other end to the grab handle of the rear seat… the bag then sits length ways down the foot well.
Loving the videos Andrew, can’t wait to receive my fish pro trophy in April, fingers crossed. Question; is there any space to install a mount for a iPad to run a separate map system, eg navionics.
That’s really exciting for you that you too have a FISH PRO Trophy coming 👍 Using one of StarPorts would all you to mount an iPad, not ideal for at speed though as you will have a hard time keeping the iPad 100% dry…

Hi Justin, if you’re getting the Trophy I’m pretty sure they have the colour lcd dash and if you download the the BRP go app I think it has maps on that will come up on your dash if you have the phone plugged into the USB port. Im not 100% sure what maps you can get on it but hopefully they will have charts available so you can free up the fish finder. Im surprised Andrew doesn’t have the Trophy the new dash is worth it by itself.

I have always "bled" fish as soon as they are landed. However, that was from a boat. Just ordered a new Sea Doo Fish Pro (March delivery). Do you bleed the fish on the Sea Doo or later on shore?
Congrats on getting yourself a FISH PRO, some of my fish I bleed, like Tuna and Kahawai. I bleed them in a net while out on the water before adding them in my cooler. In this latest video, it shows where I mount my knife on the FISH PRO which I use for bleeding the catches 👍

Are you able to do a re-entry video showing how to get back on if you fell off.
The FISH PRO is so stable you should be able to pull yourself up on the side grabbing the handle bars and putting your backside into the footwell.
Worse case scenario you can release the LinQ Cooler while in the water and use the rear boarding ladder to get back on. In all my years of riding the FISH PRO, I have never even been close to falling off it..,

Yeah, we get all types of body shapes and sizes up on the side of our fish pros.
Grab the handles on the rear seat and launch your upper body out of the water, 😀. Best done without any spectators, and no filming allowed.

Modern day PWC 800-900 pounds sofa boats ..getting larger and heavier bulkier each year ..
As they have got bigger and heavier they fortunately have come much better suited as a fishing platform too 👍
The Fishpro are also taking the yahoo element out of jetski's and gaining more respect than some of the smaller jet ski's.
Did you ever have issues centering the ski on the trailer?
Hi, on the Futura, before I made an improvement to it, I occasionally found that once loading the ski on the trailer it did not always sit true up against the V block at the winch post. This was improved once I added additional rollers on the front bracing cross member (either side of the keel roller)

😂- I just got my fish pro 4 days ago , first time out so excited - I got welcomed by the Tauranga harbour patrol with a $200 fine for no rego number. I had it in the locker but not displayed, not good enough for them. They then went straight passed a small boat with 4 locals no life jackets- did nothing.
Hey mate, how exactly does the live bait pick up work - where exactly is the water being drawn from ? I'm not quite following the science of this device !
The pick-up has a scoop on it that captures water (from under the hull) when the ski is on the move, the water then goes up the tube to the cooler jetskifishing.co.nz/products/ultimate-st3-live-bait-pickup

@@jaderamorim4670 I don’t offer the hose as people like to customise the hose to fit their cooler. You only need a garden hose fitting with some hose attached to an elbow to enter the cooler…

@@jaderamorim4670 yes you need to add an overflow outlet, I used a Hansels plumbing product about 3/4 of the way up one side of the cooler 👍
How do you find accessory mode on a 2022
If you haven’t got the latest software update you may not find it, it is amongst the options in the settings, check with your local dealer first
