Juju was a loyal Steeler. If my memory serves, he battled back from the serious shoulder injury to play in the final game in the hopes of getting the Steelers into the playoffs, putting his own career at risk. Steeler fans forget that it was Juju who slayed the Burfict dragon, something at the time that seemed would never happen. Pittsburgh loved Juju’s toughness on the field, but could never reconcile his habits on social media.
What really happened was.. he had a career year when playing with AB. He actually won team MVP in 2018. When he won team MVP, AB took that personally and left the team (other things played a factor with AB leaving, like him being crazy). Once AB left it was clear Juju was not a number 1 WR.
@@isthatdave55 So then what’s the conversation about definently NOT juju’s playing ability which would be a direct correlation to his salary and contract
This part got forgotten, but as a Steeler fan, I'll always respect Juju for coming back to play in the playoff game against the Chiefs in his last year with the Steelers. It was Ben's last game, and I think the reason Juju came back for that one year was because he knew it was probably gonna be Ben's last year. So it was pretty cool that he pushed himself to play in that game, even though we got smoked.
Juju is sick. As a Steelers fan he was a breath of fresh air. He got his bicycle back. He went to Kansas and got a ring. Good for Juju. All the best, Juju.
Football is s team sport. You never win a superbowl without help from others on the team. So it really doesn't matter WHY he won a superbowl, the fact of the matter is he DID win a Super Bowl.
He had a great rookie season in Pittsburgh, he had Big Ben throwing to him and he has Antonio Brown ( in his prime) taking on double coverage which opened up the field for him!
Lol so here's his post-AB career - 2019, his starting QB gets injured , 500 yards - 2020, good season with QB healthy, 800 yards 9 TDs - 2021, injured for most of season - 2022, wins superbowl as leading WR of the Cheifs 900 yards - 2023, bad season on a horrendous team From what I can tell he's not mid, he's had injuries to deal with and signing with the patriots was a big mistake

Because he has a cool name, a viral tictoc, and a few good stories. He's only been slightly above average at his position. The proof's right in front of us.
I think the two things that hurt juju was 1) the year Ben got hurt the whole offense fell apart and you could notice in jujus play and 2) I think his last year in Pittsburgh injuring his shoulder gifted him the injury bug unfortunately cuz he’s been injured a lot since his time in Pittsburgh. I still love him as a player. Hopefully he turns things around
That success though was because he played along a better WR in antonio brown who drew all the defense’s attention so he faced softer coverage. When brown left and teams focused on him he just wasn’t good enough
@@Mike-nz2lwyeah he thrived in KC but in NE when your QB is Mac Jones thats a recipe for disaster. Still was disappointed since it felt like bro was a ghost out there, he couldn’t even get 300 yards for the year and NE had no true number one option so it wasn’t like bro was the 5th string receiver
You’re actually wrong. After the injury vs. Denver he came back and played in the Wild Card vs. Kansas City later that year, he did ultimately nothing but thought you should know that.

I totally agree! Idk if it’s facts but I definitely feel like if he wasn’t on tik tok as much he’d be a WAY better player 🙌

Juju misses Pittsburgh! Never wanted to leave! I still like Juju!
I'd like to see JuJu back in Pittsburgh. I think he could fit in with the new offense that they'll be running under Arthur Smith.
The Steelers should sign him again
he’s my number one receiver in Madden. 92 TD’s 😮💨
Loool I had him on franchise mode putting up 90 catches a season 😂
