I'm certainly looking forward to the launch of this drone. Have been running a little spark since 2018 so next upgrade i'd like FPV that i can at least handle. I've always found the flight time a little short but OK. DJI are awesome quality so I wouldn't hesitate with this little puppy.

Interesting. I don't mind DJI making something like the Avata over their current FPV drone. I think the price point and resolution are important to me. Would like to see the specs and features when it drops. I would love to see GoPro to compete again in the market.

As with other DJI drones it most likely won’t let you.
Wouldn't expect it to do so. It's DJI they make you stick to the rules. Just do your exams and register it.
Just get a proper cinewhoop. DJI is trying too hard to compete, is releasing products that aren't durable enough, and as you say they have restricted use. DIY is where its at

recentlu i got dji fpv drone, I started flying more cinematic with it...now I see this.
I flown some cinewhoops already, but this one...I think I could really use it well. Great video. great flying.
I love the compact modular design aswell as the goggles . Some good info I didn't know first cinewoop cam was designed from a old gopro internals.

@@man.fromearth haven’t practiced FPV yet. I have been heavily focused on mastering my MA2 on manual. Eventually I’ll feel the need to go FPV but it may be sooner than later

As long as the Avata can carry the payload of a GoPro it's a go for me. I really enjoy the safety features of DJI matched with the GoPro camera.

Slow and steady wins the race; that’s what post is for. I just bought the original DJI fpv combo last week on Amazon for $840 after discounts. Honestly, the avata for $625 for just the quad and one battery seems very reasonable to me considering it’s compatible with the v2 goggles, controller, and has digital vs analog vtx. That seems very inline with the current price of a cinelog 35 with a vista vtx and the ease of using DJI batteries and charging system. Some people like to tinker but many of us just want to fly and leave the major maintenance to someone else. I’ll probably order the quad the minute it becomes available.

Great video, thank you very much. I'm seriously thinking if I'm going to buy Avatar, here in Brazil it should be very expensive, at least 6 minimum wages, no exaggeration, I'm still on the analog system, I'll wait for Avatar to arrive to decide if I'm going to buy it or go to goggles v2
Please don’t buy the avatar the geprc 25 for 300 dollars less honestly imo way better of a choice you can upgrade any part of it buy and replace any part way more opinions then being stuck with a base tune and somthing u can’t fix yourself after a crash

Where to buy this
I feel like we need a new category to define the types of FPV drones DJI is releasing.
Every FPV Pilot I’ve heard describe the DJI FPV experience has described it as fundamentally different from a typical FPV flight. Things like “floaty” and “looser controls”, even in Manual Mode. Not to mention obstacle avoidance sensors and other functionality.
I feel like the way we’ll approach shooting with drones like this is going to fundamentally change more and more from other drones as time progresses.

I believe it will be another tool to express your creativity. Once you figure out the Avata’s limitation’s, you can utilize it properly. As of right now, I’m interested in purchasing it.

just bought the mini 3 pro, and have two fpv quads, the evoque and the protek35, so maybe will give dji avata a miss, gopro is always improving and i assume dji avata cant fly full proper acro that well.
Full acro will be like in DJI fpv I hope )) But weight 400g so big for tiny cinewhoop
