- The first thing most jump to is the assumption for using excessive weight to build the biceps. This isn't the case. With the right mindful muscle connection, practising perfect technique through the range of motion, a resistance band can produce fantastic muscle development.
In this video, we'll look at how to do a resistance band arms exercise bicep curl correctly for that development.

Here's to your Fitness Freedom!
Coach Adam
Yo why when I switched from weights , to band I'm getting way more muscle mass with these bands , when they say lifting heavy builds mass ?
I wouldn’t define it as “way more muscle mass” they are all just tools to build muscle, some happen to be easier tools to use for progression and biomechanics. The muscle doesn’t know what you are holding, all it knows is the contraction and tension you can place upon it through a range of motion regardless of what you are holding. It’s the mind-muscle connection that is the real key.
@@fitnessfreedomathletes thanks bro i did not know , I think bands are underated now
It's not about weight it's a bout gravitational power the stretch makes it more heavier
This was so clear and comprehensive - I finally felt it! Thanks!
Pleasure, glad it was useful. All the best with your training!

So dope
Hope it was of some use :)
Just what I was looking for! I also like using the bands with handles on each end. Thanks for the help. Joel
No problem, glad it was of some use
I heard from somebody that you have to "soften your knees" as in have them very slightly bent, do you know of this is correct?
Also I tried this excercise and I felt it mostly on my back rather than my biceps, do you know how I could fix this?
All I would advise you focus on is locking your entire body in stone so that nothing is causing movement other than the bicep muscle. If that requires you to bend your knees, then go for it.
For you back, try locking your elbows into your sides more. Perhaps you are over bending your knees and leaning forward to much. Perhaps you've just engaged back muscle that you're not used to and they will adapt. Trial and error.
