I believe when certain episodes initially aired, some of these completed scenes where either removed or shortened to save time but when it was later shown on Netflix or re-aired on TV, they were included in the episode. All of the scenes in this video were stated as a deleted or extended scene (see title card before each one plays) on the Blu-ray, hence I included them in this video.

Damnn that transition from Captain Rex ordering the troops to stand down, to Pre Vizsla ordering the same thing. Would've been awesome if it was finished.

I think it was better with justtye Death Watch scene. I don't think the Republic had stand-down orders issued like that but idk.
13:44 The clone troopers here have blue markings on their armor, something rare for the 501st in this series until the Phase II armor came out.
There must have been a bunch of lieutenants. The phase one armour colour markings generally indicated the troopers rank
JG14 Gerhard_Bar That only applied early in the war. Later Phase 1 colors marked which group they were a part of, though privates usually had no markings.
CH fives, echo, and mixer had markings early on
D3AD RAVEN Some unique clones did, and if you pay attention, some background ones have either unique ones or ones like seen here. However, they are always in the minority, and either seem to be sergeants or higher raking, or part of elite squads, not the entirety of the force.
CH only the higher ranked clones would have the colored markings of their battalion
I love how in one scene clones get off a gunship and immediately rush to another gunship.
Astin Crow ikr I was wondering what is the point of this? I would get it if the gunship was equipped with special equipment like the lights seen in the citadel or turrets from Geonosis

It could also be like how busses work, they each have their own set destination and routes for travel.
@@brycekesner4188 That's probably what it was. The gunship they got off of shipped them from the barracks to the Venator, the other gunship is where they would need to report for muster.

I feel that the Duchess of Mandalore scenes with Anakain and the fleet definitely should have stayed in. Through out the episode we heard about the republic fleet preparing to move but we never saw it.
Agreed. And seeing Arc-170s and phase 1 501st with paint would have been awesome

EvilSnips it seems as if the ears weren’t a primary focus of the design since they had no orange color on them.
The fact we never see Ahsoka’s actual ears is intriguing, because she is almost never in a situation where they would be visible, outside of her being upside down like in the Clone wars movie when they are in the Twilight, but I don’t think she had ears shown in that either.
@@Fi_Sci_ She isn't supposed to have ears in the show, it's an animation error. I hear the Togrutas hear through their 'montrals' somehow.

The voices are different because they like to see how it sounds before having the real sound actor do it. Most of the voices are the from animators.

9:40 to be honest I kind of have mixed feelings about this. I feel like it was good that it was Anakin that was there because I know it would be him, he's so protective of her and I have a feeling he would have wanted to be there when she did wake up. But at the same time it would have been cool to have Obi Wan because we don't get much of those twos ( Ahsoka and Obi wans ) friendship. To be honest im Okay with it either way. I don't know if any of that made sense to anyone but it did to me. 😂

That jocasta voice is top notch
The early chummy of Anakin an Unduli is better than the final cut. Makes more sense and explains her actions. The original made her seem like an uncaring wench who gave up before she even tried... Here we see her heart, and the lesson she tries to teach Anakin sounds like a legitimate one, a real one and a compassionate one. So much better.
We need an origin story on Luminara Unduli, she's one of the most interesting minor Jedi characters in Star Wars. I want to know why she became the way she has, who was her master? Why does she follow the Jedi ideology so strictly, when she shows just as much emotion as Anakin did?

It's fun to theorize why deleted scenes were deleted in the first place. Was it too dumb, too violent, too silly, too confusing, too long? Plenty of the Clone Wars deleted scenes I've seen don't seem to have a reason for being deleted. In fact, it may have been better if they kept them in.

I dunno about you guys but.. the scenes with the venator at the harbor with ships landing on it and the other scene when the venators were taking off were brilliant.. they should have kept those in. they really mad the republic military seem professional and strong.

I definetely thinks that some could have stayed in the episodes. I mean, in the Duchess of Mandalore, we never heard something about the fleet, except that they are moving or something like that.
And the episode when Ahsoka waked up, I think it's better that Anakin was there in the episode what we saw. But it was also cute when Obi-Wan was there
