Yes. I had the same problem - it was way too narrow (which I didn't know when buying it), and I had to modify it a bit. I can do a short video on this in the future.
Section of 30 mm threaded rod Section of metal tube (with hole diameter of 30 mm) Section of think 10 mm metal bar. I used a TIG welder to both heat the 10 mm bars so that I was able to bend them, and also to weld the 10 bars to this metal tube.
Because this version is better with spinlock dumbbells, which are what I used, because (1) there is nothing bothering your grip and becasue (2) there is no bar contact (since the hooks are long). These are the reasons why I rather use these than the commersial product. Sure the commersial product would be better if you just use regular not abjustable subbells, but since I'm not using them, I prefer these.

the biggest problem i see with this is that now you have to end each set with a concentric phase and you cant grind out the essentric of the last rep
