I remember selling the loose leaf Bible when I worked in Christian retail. It was interesting. Around 10 years ago we were all making blank bibles in seminary. We would buy a hardback pew bible for around 10 dollars, send it through a tablesaw and barely cut off the binding, and then add loose pages and bind them in several volumes with a spiral binding. It was a play off of the interleaved Bibles Jonathan Edwards and those other old school cats used.

I love my journaling bible and I especially appreciate the cream colored paper! After reading for a little while, it’s much easier on the eyes! Great video!

Just picked up a 2 column Journal ESV today. Wow!! I like taking notes. I will absolutely take advantage of the 2" margins! I had another Bible for studying ( NKJV thin line) but I think this ESV will be my new study, church, small group and schooling Bible! This thing is AWESOME!

Thanks Pastor for the review video. I've been going back and forth on which journaling Bible to run with, but now you have cleared up at least some of the haze! I suppose there is no perfect Bible in the less than $100 range. The perfect journaling Bible would have all the right features that you mentioned and would include a USB cable so you could jack it directly into the brain.......maybe next year. Thanks again.

I would have loved an ESV interleaved journaling Bible with lines on the writing pages.I just wonder if they even exist.Completely blank pages just doesnt do it for me.
You could put an paged of heavy-lined behind the page you want to work on? You should be able to see through well enough to keep your note-taking neat 😊

I’m a month into a new daily devotional regime with a Bible I saw recommended by another YT’r. Sorry I can’t remember who it was to give credit. I don’t know if it’s intended to be a study Bible but I thought the margins looked generous enough to write it, also the print was a comfortable size and she did writing and illustrations. I absolutely love it. It’s single column, take ink well for notes & illustrations, highlights (I only use gel type). It’s The Jesus Bible NIV from Zondervan in a really nice soft leather soft.

My favorite is the ESV single-column journaling Bible by Crossway it has the leaf pattern on it and I have the large print and it is really nice you should check it out christianbooks.com loved your / review not review hands down my favorite was the one you picked💛🙏

@@felipetejeda7545 Better yet I bought a KJV innerleaf Bible from CSB publishers. Trick is you have to wrote small. I use an ultra fine pen to do so. Yes it does work.

How well would u reRecommend a teen bible for an adult who is just starting out reading 📖 the Bible but also wants to do a bible journaling too?
I don't really think I can formulate an answer. If the person wants to use a teen Bible, I guess that's alright... it's doesn't affect the translation, just the study notes.

How do the hardcovers lay at the ends? Meaning, if I want to write notes in Genesis, am I going to have to pin the page with my hand to do that? Because I'm actually thinking about getting the hardcover black one (you know, the one you're not a big fan of that looks like the moleskine), I would just like to know how practical it is for easy note taking.
Reformed Rex actually... the lay surprisingly well. Obviously, you’re gonna have some gentile pressure on it, but because you don’t deal with an inner margin (like the Cambridge Wide margin) the “lay flat” doesn’t have to be AS good.
That being said... the ends... unlike most Bible, revelation 22 is on like the 2nd to last page, because there’s no concordance or maps or anything...

Well, I couldn't find the moleskine looking one. I found a bonded leather at the local bookstore. All I have to do is get the women their copies. This think looks GREAT in person. I love it.

The only New Testament I have found that is translated from the original Hebrew is "The Book
of Yahweh". It is the only translation I have found that correctly
translates the first verses of the Book of John. Michael Rood found over 2000 errors in translations that came from the Greek.
Hi Jason. I really love your videos! I am finding some awesome tips through them. (I need to order my repositional glue soon. Awesome!) You mentioned in this video around 11:08 about the looseleaf Bibles. I was on ChristianBook.com earlier ordering my Single Column ESV Journaling Bible (Marble for 9.99...WHAT?! lol) I stumbled across a KJV Loose Leaf Bible in a binder for 29.99. I believe it is a 3" binder. It also comes pages only on a related link. They are always having multiple sales. So, I am not sure if that ends today or not. They generally start a weekly sale Monday through Monday.
