High altitude test facility and other types of facilities needed should be made as soon as possible

For that we need reforms in DRDO and it's happening
It's jst an excuse.. U don't need high altitude test facility for gaurav, gautham, sudarshan, ship launched Nirbhay and what not.
@@nishantshrivastava9674 it's not a excuse, if we don't have more funds from government then we can't test or devloped our weapons faster, ofcourse our this government support make in India and other innovations but still we need more funds for R & D or our many projects can be delayed

Why cannnot they have machines with redundant powertrains which can test these engines at elevations?
India needs cummins like dedicated engine making companies. Develop when a need arises strategy isn't functional.

Hal should include himself in medium transport aircraft or jointly developed a400 m or any other transport aircraft with some tot.this would help HAL to develop indigenous heavy aircraft similar to c 17 globe master.

Like India is getting GE-404 and GE-414, French engines for helicopters, can't we get some engine from Europe or US ? I remember, both Boeing, Airbus and BAE have showcased MALE UAVs which got abandoned. Surely they worked on some engine, their airframe designed itself is useless now. Can't we just buy IP for these abandoned drone projects (of course only if they have progressed enough)
We already have NPO engines for tapas which are quite good

Engine development is slow? GTRE has been working on engines since the 1950s! Yes, that counts as SLOW. No amount of excuses changes that fact.
