Rolexes Balance, or genuinely where they shine. It’s nothing absolutely insane, but given the manufacturing requirements of making it easy mass produced, and easy to service, but still an absolutely accurate and Isaac chronic as possible, it’s just this beautiful balance of engineering and I love it.
I used to hate the smooth bezel/ oyster DJs until the palm dial came out and now I quite prefer it, just more versatile. Funny how tastes change. Hopefully not too long from now I'll have one, its next, hopefully. If not, Santos medium. IMO the only flaw this watch has is AR on the cyclops. I'm a fan of no AR, muddies the dial, I'd rather get blasted in the face with light than look at a fuzzy, slightly hazy dial.
Just got my azzuro blue with Roman numeral recently, and I like it very much. It's very beautiful and meanwhile sporty. Never thought I would be so keen to wear a datejust like this. For Rolex I thought I would only be interested in a Day-date, but no supply, then I think maybe a sub or batman/coke or daytona (I never thought I would even think of daytona before either because to me a date is a complication to have at least), but none has supply either, so I got my datejust. Now I started to enjoy Rolex, handsome, simplicity, decent quality feel and versatile. Previously I was only into complicated watches so I have a Patek 5146. I didn't know my enthusiastic point of watches also changed this much. Don't get me wrong though, the datejust is also very hard to get in AD.
Tim, is the black dial a sunburst pattern? I can't tell. I had an 39mm Explorer and its black dial was glossy. If this is sunburst, is it in any way off-putting, or does it still look like a sports watch?

Which watch’s minute repeater do I hear at 4:35?

Used to have this watch, subtle sunburst only discernible in direct sunlight
Was the double crown dial started in the middle of 2018 or beginning?
Black Diamond, so much nice is this watch.
What a hideous thing! Raus!
