The DateJust was my first Rolex. I remember how easy it was to get these models at ADs in the early 2000s. I also recall how the salesman quickly upsold me when he showed me the fluted bezel version, which in my opinion, raises the class quotient 100% on the Date Just. The smooth bezel is just too plain for me. Congrats on the acquisition and wear it in good health.
Nah. The 36 is way too small unless you’re a woman with small dainty wrists. The 41 looks better and is a mans sized watch. So the 36 would be for you if you have small dainty wrists.

DJ has to be 36. The proportions are completely off on the 41. It just doesn’t look right.
