Collier's Grammy-winning arrangement of “Moon River” is a thrilling exercise in form and style. A cappella arranger extraordinaire Paul Langford has taken Jacob's iconic arrangement and has meticulously set it to eight-to-twelve vocal parts on the page. While this would be one of the most difficult arrangements your choir could tackle, it would also turn out to be one of the most rewarding!

Wow. Which choir or ensemble will be able to sing this brilliant arrangement live and unplugged a cappella? You need singers with perfect pitch and a wide range in every voice. When it comes to sound balance, intonation, vocal colors and rhythmic precision, even Voces8 will reach its limits. And the modulations and harmonic treasures are from another universe ;-) I'm looking forward to links or comments from choirs here who have taken the risk.
This strikes me as a piece that people will mostly study, rather than perform, or perhaps only perform excerpts from. I bought a book of Take 6 arrangements for the same reason.
