Honestly, every time I break a Dark Gem and everything comes back to life... I absolutely adore that feeling. It's probably my favorite thing from the game.
Never in my life will I ever understand the hate for this game, honestly, this is the second best game in the series, in my opinion. I am in such deep love with this world, I wish we could have gotten another console Spyro game of this style. Also, Ember is the cutest, ever. XD Don't see how you can hate her. XD
***** also you are overrating too much. How is that pink dragon like sexist. Stop making up stupid excuses to hate these after ps1 games. Spyro a hero's tail has a fair amount of classic elements: gem collecting, old characters, etc. Not to mention the models for Spyro and hunter are much better than the original 3.
The game came out before I was born, but this game is amazing, and I still play it to this day. Haha. It's really fun, sadly it's not in stores anymore. :(
I used to come home after school in fourth grade and I loved playing this game and grinding it when I was younger. I am now in my first year of highschool and realised how many innuendos and dirty jokes from this game I had missed, and watching you play this game brought back memories and breathed the game back to life for me.
I cant see why people hate it.. I grew up playing this game, it was the 1st spyro game I ever played in my life, and it was amazing, it's actually my favorite
honestly, i think that's why. everyone always seems to love the games they played first. Spyro the dragon was the first game i played and i was 8 when the 3rd installment of the original games released so those are always my favorite. hated enter the dragonfly, and this was the last game i played. didnt finish it, but i found it enjoyable. just not my favorite.
Im going through this playlist again after watching your hacked video. Think i have watched this series between 15 and 20 times i think. So for once im gonna go through all of them and leave comments.
Geat work Fissure, very interesting as always. I am from the same era as you growing up with all the same games etc, but by the time I started collecting games for the PS2 I naturally went for Jak & Daxter, ratchet & Clank etc as far as platformers were concerned for some reason. (I guess because they were made by Naughty Dog and Insomniac.) I never even knew this game existed even, and as a kid I wouldn't have given it a try. As a game it looks great and I can't wait to see more, but as a Spyro game it feels so 'trippy' seeing familiar characters look so different. I think it's great and actually quite interesting seeing other developers reform the characters we knew form the original games though. Keep it up!
***** Thanks Thomas. I've got all those games as well on the PS2. There are many good aspects of this game, but also negatives too. It's not a terrible game by any means. But too short.
I'm a diehard fan of the Insomniac trilogy, but I still think this game is pretty cool. I never played this game before in my life, but watching this LP made me realize that I missed out on some more Spyro action when I was a kid. My only gripe with this game is the design choices. The level design looks like its borrowing elements from Jak, Ratchet, Crash and Rayman. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't give this game its own personality. Also, the character designs are a bit bland and boring. The gnorcs look like generic Warcraft orcs. The enemies in the Insomniac Spyro games were so charming and had a ton of character. Like in Peacekeepers those Gnorcs that drop their pants and show you their ass and the green wizard guys in Magic Crafters who laugh at you when they cast their magic.
I just started playing this game too! It'll be super cool to see where we both end up :) I always remembered this being one of my favorites when I was little.
Very enjoyable part, so glad you're playing my second favorite Spyro game :D I love it so much, I know it's in a lot of ways 'different' to the original games but I think it's a good different and they've kept some really good elements from the originals and done them well. I love the personality they've given Spyro, I especially liked his reaction to Hunter teaching him to glide xD It's kind of like the developers knew we'd been taught to glide three games in a row and Spyro's reaction is our reaction xD The music in this game is really good in my opinion, especially Moneybags' shop. I think that's a very underrated track but it's brilliant! Also it may just be my terrible recognition of accents but I've also thought Moneybags sounded Italian. I've probably just offended every Italian person around so I'm very sorry about that xD And I love all the dragon elders they're amazing and each of them is very interesting (that grammar made no sense but I'm not sure how to correct it xD) As opposed to Enter the Dragonfly I think they did a stellar job with the NPCs in this game and gave all of them some sort of personality, and I like how they kept Hunter and Sgt Byrd very similar to YoTD. Also, not all British people sound like Sgt Byrd unfortunately :( I am one of the ones that does not xD unrealistic expectations right there. So yeah I can't wait to watch the rest! :D
A thing I like about this game, is you don't need Moneybags for opening bridges, or getting new abilities like in 2, 3, and only one time in the entire 4th game, you only use him for lockpicks and stuff
I played this game recently for the first time. I didn't play it as a young lad because I find it too complex. But yes, Moneybags speaks with a Turkish Accent now. The characters tend to break the forth wall which is ok for the most part. Sgt Byrd sounds a bit like John Cleese, Bentley they ruined I was actually yelling "OMG, what did they do to you, Bentley??". Also the Professor asks you first to collect Power Stars and the reason Spyro never heard of them is because Power Stars are from the Mario games. Red coins also cone from the Mario games. Heart Pieces are from the Legend of Zelda games. Gold Tokens could come from anywhere but I dunno which game you get those. I guess they mean the Gold coins from Mario but I honestly don't know. But I like how this is referencing other games we are familiar with :P
Marmike91 The changes to Moneybags made no sense. Seriously a load of crap. Ah yes, I liked that whole reference in the part, but I forgot what games they were from. Hope you enjoy the rest of the game.
In this game it's weird that alot of things changed. I'm used to the old Spyro series, and this is odd, but it's still great, because it's Spyro after all :)
This game doesn't really feel like Spyro. I think if they got Tom Kenny to voice Spyro and the Professor (Although I love the Professor's new voice) and got Stewart Copeland to compose the music again, it would help.
When you spend your childhood playing the original Spyro trilogy and then you get to this and they suddenly switch flame and charge commands you just end up saying a lot of bad words
I'm a huuuuge Spyro fan, loved the originals and really enjoyed this. I don't understand the hate it gets, it's great for what it is. And I agree, the "legend" games, let's just not speak of them 🤨
+CrystalFissure I have just finished the game and watching your videos helps me know where light gems/dragon eggs are and also how to complete quests so thanks for helping me
Wow great first part CrystalFissure, And great to see you play this game. Overal I think this game is probably the best remake after the original series but does annoy me how they often break the fourth wall a lot, just a pet hate of mine in video games. Should be difficult to 100% complete but still will be a good challenge, also love how the brought back Gnasty Gnorc and stayed somewhat true to the original series, will be watching this to see your thoughts and how you get on, not to spoil it but yet another dreadful ending to the game also. Great part anyway mate!
HDaleZ Thank Harry. This should be fun. I think it's more "leaning on the fourth wall", at least the stuff I've seen so far. But yeah that save game one seemed a bit silly, yeah. I guess you can try and explain it in story but it's difficult. I don't know what I may have gotten myself into in regards to 100%ing, haha. We'll see how I go.
This has some amazing gameplay, but one thing I always hated is the way Spyro's face looks and the way he sounds. Also love this game's comedy and references to the old games :P
I do like Ember's character design, I'm just kinda annoyed they made her so thirsty... Also, I'm pretty sure Ember and Spyro are the same age, she's just got a really young-sounding voice
I suppose it's natural to feel that way because we've never seen her before...But I mean, this universe is so big, they may be the same age, we've just never encountered her before this game...same for the red one and...the black one...Cynder? Yeah, think I like her design better than Ember's ^_~
The thing is, while Spyro 1 - 3 were child-friendly while staying adult-accessible, Hero's Tail was simply childish. It's like The Muppets vs Dora The Explorer. It was a bit of a stretch, but I hope you get my point.
Nostalgia I tell you :'). Also was gonna do a LP of this game as well since it was a part of my childhood. Which is why I got this game as a B-Day present, I wanted to relive my childhood more then anything.I am currently at the second world already so if I do a LP of this game I might start it from where its blind to me which is the third world(Frostbite Village, if I'm correct).
I got this game for Christmas 2004 when I was 8 but I never completed it, my brother downloaded it for me last year and I finished it!!! And seriously, playing this game again gave me the sweetest feeling ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So you decided to start A Hero's Tail anyway, this was actually my favourite Spyro game of the PS2/Xbox gen, interesting how in this game they introduced different pattern eggs (10 of each) and the mini games of the other characters to unlock extras, the levels are more structured similar to the Jak and Daxter levels, the male ally dragon you're referring to at 26:27 is Flame who you see in the cave where you go to face Gnasty Gnorc, btw and you get to play as Ember and Flame once you get all 10 eggs of their design
***** I thought the pattern eggs was a smart idea actually! I never played as those two either, but the gameplay is exactly the same which is understandable. But Ember's voice doesn't appear when you play as her.
CrystalFissure Yeah that's right and same with Flame, I noticed that when I played as those 2, and they also don't appear when you talk to anyone, it still shows Spyro when he's talking
Hi, I just found your channel- you played so many of my favorite classic Playstation games I just had to subscribe. Thanks for posting so many of these. I never played this PS2 game, I played Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly and it was so bad (felt like an unfinished mess, even had the game crash on me) I passed this game up, but it actually looks good- kinda like a "lite" version of the Playstation games. I might have to pick it up for myself sometime- I'm sure it's dirt cheap now. Thanks for sharing!
CrystalFissure They've both got ups and downs to them, neither are the worst game ever, but I think they did let the Spyro series down a bit. Still, very much playable games, this one more so.
I do like this game. Been watching through some of your LPs for this game (I'm not a fan of LPs, but yours are all brilliant) and it made me feel like picking this game up for the first time in years. Fortunately I still have my 100% from all that long ago. There are a lot of flaws, such as Spyro's controls (I hate how he stops charging when you jump), the minigames can be really quite annoying, and the immersion which the Spyro games are known are is frequently challenged by the constant breaking of the fourth wall and the tongue-in-cheek, pop trivia type of humour. Obviously it doesn't compare to the Insomniac trilogy, but really it's quite a fun and solid game. The worlds can be fun and engaging to explore, it offers a fresher take on the classic Spyro formula rather than trying to imitate it, and I actually really liked Hunter in this game, as a character and to play as.
I've played all of the Spyro games, including the LOS series. Frankly, I'm annoyed with the way people keep bashing that series. Yes, it was different from the rest, but so was A Hero's Tail and Enter the Dragonfly. But, it is a matter of opinion as well. I loved all of them, minus the GBA games which I also played. PS: I'm super late as far as adding a comment is concerned...
Completely same. I've played every ps1/2 Spyro game (excluding The Eternal Night cause I dont have it), and frankly, I feel each one is great, including Enter the Dragonfly (granted it was my first). Sure, one's past the first three are "different" from them, but those differences make them great in their own right. Like AHT here, it has many things different from the Trilogy, but it's done in a "modern" way which makes up for the changes. And TLOS may have taken Spyro in a completely different direction, but the plot and the action still made it fun ... kinda a "choose a platform-collectathon, or play an action-centric version".
I can see why people hate it because it's different and all the characters have been changed or redesigned but it's still got that main spyro structure collecting gems and a main sort of crystal/gem and they even used collecting eggs from spyro 3. You even get to play as that penguin guy and hunter. They may have tried to add everything in one game but for me it works and I had a blast playing it.
Ed Martin The stuff that's been retained is good. I like the playable characters for the most part, but hate how they changed Bentley and made a lot of them a bit immature compared to the previous games.
I know I loved Bentley in spyro 3 and now look what they did to him, shame the voice acting does let this game down especially with tom kenny not doing the spyro voice anymore :(
Ed Martin It was stupid. Why do it? Why change him like that? He's a fundamentally different character. That's an example of them getting shit wrong with this game.
Anyway we will have to see if our minds change at the end, maybe we will both like it better than the originals (I don't think we are) but it's better than enter the dragonfly but have a good series m8 and I will be supporting all the way.
People not liking this game is new to me, I think it's partially to do with relief of the game feeling solid after enter the dragonfly. Ironically this felt much more well received even though it was so different from the original trilogy. Personally as a 1991 born Spyro fan I still consider this game the last truly good Spyro game. Love it.
I'll say. Apparently it was criticised because of not very imaginative elements, but you have various mini games, the cannon and light gems and whatnot. EtD had a lot of potential but came out a glitchy, slow and boring mess.
First time experiencing this game and let me tell ya. Absolutely loving the fact that they payed so much attention to Spyro's moving animations and the music. Two of my fave things from the first three games. The move set is different, yes. But it's fabulous in its own way. Also "Excuse the French there" got a genuine chuckle out of me.
Since I've played both Enter the Dragonfly and The Legend of Spyro, but not this, so this game feels like a natural evolution between the two for me. The fact that this is on Xbox also makes me wonder if there was a cancelled Xbox port of ETD. (I don't like looking that game up because the haters scare me.) Also, is the GameCube version of this any good? Did they have to compress anything?
If you're using an emulator can't you just swap the Circle and Square button mappings to get flaming and charging correct again? Or does it mess up other stuff?
This game is my favourite - I love the music and the number of playable characters. There are things I dislike - such as Blink and the difficulty jumps, but overall I really do love this game. Furthermore, this game helped build my friendship with guys I've now been friends with for 15 years and helped me discover my passion for Creative Writing - I adapted this game into a play and forced the guys to perform it. Though Enter the Dragonfly was good, and was the first Spyro game I was introduced to, I never really connected with the story. However, this could be due to being four or five and focusing more on Spyro, rather than narrative. I never really grasped the controls, purely because I am used to the controls on this game, where they switched charge buttons.
Sound Scapes There are many things that make it inferior, but had it had a few more levels and less repetitive challenges, it would have been an amazing game. In my opinion.
Yes indeed. It would have been 10x better if all of the original cast stayed. Would have added a lot more of a positive attitude to it. Tom Kenny would make Spyro sound less stupid.
Blake the radical Gamer i fully agree!!! the ones with cynder... eh.. i liked the one where you were attached to her and you could fly freely. but it was only bc you could fly freely hahaha
snakepower2 Crash Bash is a game I've said that I don't wanna do for a very long time, if ever. I like the game, but I don't think I'd do a good LP of it.
Awe love Spyro! Ripto's rage was my ALL time favourite, but I did enjoy this one too for what it was! Also I really really really wanted to like your streams! Your channel art is so Spyro-legit. I was so pumped the second I found you. I was looking forward to watching this Spyro playthrough with my little daughter! We got to the part where you made an awkward comment about dating someone underage... I was like okay, unnecessary overshare lol. Also super creeepyyy vibes. Then the "Cunter" remark? Oh dearrr lol. My daughter doesn't need to go around shouting that out :P Sadly we have to find another spyro lets play! Honestly, I'm just confused because I feel like your target audience is children and young adults who grew up with Spyro and want to watch some good old Spyro playthroughs, but then you randomly treat it like your playing for a GTA crowd. I just feel like your channel art is too legit! Just my opinion but maybe think more about what you're saying and who you're saying it too! I feel like you would have two more fans if you were just a bit more childfriendly
First Spyro game I played after original trilogy, because I didnt know about Insomniac not making them anymore I was VERY excited for this next gen Spyro game......... Sadly I was disappointed. I was very upset when I found out Spyro had become this...... idiot child rather than the adventerous young dragon. However I did piss myself laughing when I first met Moneybags.... But I did really like this game overall, it was a good kind of diffrent, unlike the bad diffrent you get in Legend of Spyro. I think they could have made this work really well had they spent more time on it
I can see why people would becoming disappointed. The characters in this game are among the weakest in the series in terms of how they changed for the worst. It was a _good_ different for the most part.
Trina: Yo M8, I stick with my stick on your head to save your progress... Spyro: Who are you? Trina: ...you also destroy your brain.... Spyro: YU W0T M3?
I used to have this for X-Box, but then one of my siblings pawned off my X-Box when I was a kid without my permission. Maybe I should just pick up an old X-Box 'cause I really liked this game.
CrystalFissure You said this was emulated. Have you a particularly powerful PC? I've tried many times to tweak things around with PSCX2 but to no avail :( I don't think my PC can handle any ps2 game at a steady 60fps and often stutters around. I'm just asking out of interest because I was started to worry that it simply couldn't be properly done! D:
The one thing keeping this game from being a really great Spyro game is the fact that it has no music composed by Stewart Copeland. At this point in the series Copeland's music became the iconic style for the games, his music is one of the big reasons I like Enter the Dragonfly despite all of that game's shortcomings
HushedTerror This is my second favorite soundtrack after Year of the Dragon (it's also my second favorite game after YotD, obviously the soundtrack plays an important part in the games I like xD)
***** You know the one thing that could help greatly with that? Stewart Copeland's music, lol The controls are basically the same, aside from the swapped flame and charge buttons, and the music of the old games greatly contributed to the overall charm
this game, so much nostalgia, the music and everything
+Chayens Plenty of fans of this game it seems!
I know right. this game was a piece of my childhood
Better than Enter The Dragonfly.
@@julianjefferson6766 Same here!
This game just makes me smile. I cant understand why people dislike it.
I agree it's so much fun.

I loved this game so much as a child. It's such a fun and underrated spyro game. 💜

"Then how about red coins? No? Heart pieces?"
Those have to be Mario and Zelda references.
My favorite PS2 Spyro game, my childhood.
Same here. 💜
I was 12 when this came out. I loved it and still do!
Athaina Same 😊

This is my first reaction to any spyro game and the first thing that stands out is the self aware dialogue. I'm loving it
6:57 ''You must be setting out to stop Red from using the dddddaaarrkk ggggemmms to take over the world.''
The one thing I loved about this game was the graphics/design/style.
It reminds me of a Saturday morning cartoon. 😝😜
I found the game from my childhood... I never knew this was the game I played when I was 3, just watching a bunch of Spyro lets plays, 1 a month. Wow!
time to watch this LP in full for probably the 3rd or 4th time
People love this one! Maybe it’s time for a retrospective in widescreen or something.

Best Spyro game in history
Love this it really brings back my childhood memories
In this game it's weird that alot of things changed. I'm used to the old Spyro series, and this is odd, but it's still great, because it's Spyro after all :)
+Dana Grigore It's good, but I wish they had more levels but they were slightly smaller. That way it would feel more like classic Spyro.
+CrystalFissure I haven't played this one in years but I remember the levels could sometimes drag on for a real long time.
Danny O'Gara Agreed. I wish they had maybe three more levels but made all of them just a little bit smaller.
I can actually hear the hans zimmer guitars in the backround track of the music, quite nice that they used it!

I loved this game I need to get it back
+Theturnupcrew Yeah it has its moments!
Such nostalgia!
The thing is, while Spyro 1 - 3 were child-friendly while staying adult-accessible, Hero's Tail was simply childish. It's like The Muppets vs Dora The Explorer.
It was a bit of a stretch, but I hope you get my point.
the platforming in this game is definitely adults only
Nostalgia I tell you :').
SDoll And thanks for watching! It's appreciated.
SDoll if what I heard was correct what happened with enter the dragon fly was they rushed the game when they developed it.
i think its great that this game references Mario and Zelda XD (Power Stars and Red Coins = Mario and Heart Pieces = Zelda)
sora09838 Oh yeah, I forgot what games they were from! It's really cool.
This game is cool. I hope that we master it.
Definitely prefer this to Enter the Dragonfly, much better game!
That seems to be the popular consensus, but there are some that HATE this game with a passion. I'm not one of those people.
CrystalFissure They've both got ups and downs to them, neither are the worst game ever, but I think they did let the Spyro series down a bit. Still, very much playable games, this one more so.
when i was small my faverouite game was this on ps2 and now i have ps2 and ps3
I love the original & Legend Spyro games. 😊👌
12:47 Power stars are from Super Mario 64
This,to me,was the last acceptable spyro.
The game doesn't deserve all the hate.
I played this when I was 3 and been playing every year since! :)
Love it.
i totally agree on the bently matter. Although he must still retain some intelligence for a yeti if he can craft his own furniture and lights.
I'll say. Apparently it was criticised because of not very imaginative elements, but you have various mini games, the cannon and light gems and whatnot.
EtD had a lot of potential but came out a glitchy, slow and boring mess.
I love the classic Spyro games better of course, but I still really love this one as well.. I don't understand why people hate it so much.
+Kiaquaiii People hate change, and I can't blame them. Because this game made a few key mistakes. Overall, I do like it though.
CrystalFissure well people should get used to change
First time experiencing this game and let me tell ya. Absolutely loving the fact that they payed so much attention to Spyro's moving animations and the music. Two of my fave things from the first three games. The move set is different, yes. But it's fabulous in its own way. Also "Excuse the French there" got a genuine chuckle out of me.
12:52 Oh the references.
YourEthernalTeacher I appreciated that when I realised exactly what games he was referencing.
OHHH THE NOSTALGIA
Anyone feel like the reignited aesthetics look more like this game than the insomniac trilogy?
I've never played this game but now I wish I did :(
***** Just don't 100% percent it. Just finished recording Dark Mine and honestly, it's insufferable a lot of the time.
Let me love you! :3 I was hoping you'd do this game!
Yeah yeah. This should be guud.
From doing some reading a while ago, it's what Enter the Dragonfly should have been.
Since I've played both Enter the Dragonfly and The Legend of Spyro, but not this, so this game feels like a natural evolution between the two for me. The fact that this is on Xbox also makes me wonder if there was a cancelled Xbox port of ETD. (I don't like looking that game up because the haters scare me.)
Also, is the GameCube version of this any good? Did they have to compress anything?
It's embarassing to admit that I never even got as far as Gnasty Gnorc back in the day, I was too scared to fight him :P
I don't care. This is my favorite spyro game
The second spyro is my second favorite
💔💔i miss playing it
I have wanted this for so long!
snuffypop Glad you've finally got it, hah.
If you're using an emulator can't you just swap the Circle and Square button mappings to get flaming and charging correct again? Or does it mess up other stuff?
+Figgy
It would make any button prompts confusing, but other than that it would have worked.
great video! a good transition from enter the dragonfly imo.
eire789 Thanks! Yeah, happy to do this one.
Heck yes!!! Been waiting for this man! Wooo!!!
spyrosparxfan1 Fuck yeah! Get hype.
are you playing on an amulator? if so. what emulator do you use. and where can l download the game for the enulator?
I like this type of jumping puzzle games and quest like crash bandicoot and banjo and kazooie
You know, whenever Spyro speaks in this game, Wakko Warner is the first thing that pops into my mind.
Stuart Gibson Just looked him up. Good stuff.
Could you put a download to the emulator + rom? I just want to play the game again
This was just as good as the original playstation games
Sound Scapes There are many things that make it inferior, but had it had a few more levels and less repetitive challenges, it would have been an amazing game. In my opinion.
This game have a whole new cast, Only Sparx voice remains (Andre Sogliuzzo)
Yes indeed. It would have been 10x better if all of the original cast stayed. Would have added a lot more of a positive attitude to it. Tom Kenny would make Spyro sound less stupid.
Duper Gamer See, I feel like he lowered himself and became more immature. Like he doesn't really give a shit as to what's going on.
dude i looooooved a hero's tail. it was way better than the games with elijah wood
+meerschweinchenn this was the last "true" spyro game
Blake the radical Gamer i fully agree!!!
the ones with cynder... eh.. i liked the one where you were attached to her and you could fly freely. but it was only bc you could fly freely hahaha
cynder was only included so spyro had someone to bone
I just finished this game today, pretty amazing in my opinion.I wonder if you played crash bash or if you have plans for it for the future? :)
snakepower2 Crash Bash is a game I've said that I don't wanna do for a very long time, if ever. I like the game, but I don't think I'd do a good LP of it.
CrystalFissure How about sly cooper series?
I’m sorry but c*nter 😂😂😂 that’s fucking amazing bro
I have never played this game but I’ll probably look into it
I didn´t even heard of that game.
It is strange,I like spyro games.
I watched video of that game before yours looong agoooo.
Pretty sure this was my first open-world-like game. Which is my fave genre now! 😁
Awesome! From humble beginnings.
3:27-3:31 did some one scratch the disc?
the music in the mini game with the ball was the best, too bad my save got corrupted, it was a pretty ok game.
It was a _good_ different for the most part.
i like how they reference mario and zelda
Leaving a comment for support
Legend!
I think people don't like the game because Spyro is jumping like a kangaroo or maybe his design because it's different from PS1
This was mine, my brothers, and my sisters first video game...... the surprising thing is that there's quite a big age gap between me and my sister
The one thing keeping this game from being a really great Spyro game is the fact that it has no music composed by Stewart Copeland. At this point in the series Copeland's music became the iconic style for the games, his music is one of the big reasons I like Enter the Dragonfly despite all of that game's shortcomings
I actually think this is a really great game. Aside from music, it's pretty cool. :)
AngelOfTheTriad There are some good tracks in this game, but it's not as good as Copeland's work that's for sure.
I am going to say something extremely blasphemous here... but this is my favorite spyro soundtrack.
HushedTerror This is my second favorite soundtrack after Year of the Dragon (it's also my second favorite game after YotD, obviously the soundtrack plays an important part in the games I like xD)
***** You know the one thing that could help greatly with that? Stewart Copeland's music, lol
The controls are basically the same, aside from the swapped flame and charge buttons, and the music of the old games greatly contributed to the overall charm
I feel like this was the last spyro game that still felt like a spyro game, before re-ignighted
Yeah, I agree. It was flawed but still decent.
I just realized... The Professor made a reference to Super Mario 64 with Power Stars and Red Coins!
