My dealer charged me $85 (3 hr wait) to replace a burned out stop light. I watched your video and changed it myself in less than 5 minutes with a $2 bulb. Thanks so much for the video. Awesome!
I have a 2006 model...... was driving down the road today with a cop on my left. We both approached a stop light at about the same time. I car pulls up to my right motioning for me to roll down the window. I do so as he proceeds to tell me "you have a left tail light out and there is a cop to your left". I graciously said "thank you". I let the cop get on up the road as I slowly slowed my speed and turned off to the first right at a grocery store. Got in front of the window and back my way toward it so I could see my back reflection and sure enough the left tail light was out! Went immediately and got the tail light came home and did not know how to get into it. Did a search and this video cam up. With that said, THANK YOU so much for posting/sharing this. You have saved the day my friend! :-)

This is exactly what I needed help figuring out I realized I'm missing a few with the clips that go over the bolts or screwdriver pins uphold the taillight in and later when I have the money to I'm going to order both tail lights to replace them I found that the wiring setup in the right tail light is practically shut it looks as if somebody replaced it before I purchase a vehicle with a POS from a junkyard these videos from your RUclips channel have been the most helpful out of all of them when it comes to working on my vehicle

Thanks, wife got pulled over for brake light out, this is a lot easier than the headlight bulbs, will change the bulb on Saturday when I’m off from work

Great video! Exactly what I needed. I got the screws out and couldn't tell what was holding the thing in place. Figured I'd do a quick search instead of possibly breaking the assembly. Took all of about 60 seconds before I found your vid. Thanks for the help!
@barney61ful It may be the socket on that side, I would check it with a test light to see if it lights up when the brakes are pressed.

I have some condensation in one of my light and I don t see any crack that would indicate where this come from, do you have an idea how to resolve this problem?
great tutorial, but as a side note, i would wear a pair of nitrile gloves when handling the bulbs. it keeps natural oils from your finger tips getting on the bulb itself and causes them to over heat and burn out faster.

how do i replace the ceiling lights above the rearview mirror? i click on them but not sure if they are broken or bulb is out...... these would be the front cabin lights.

As long as you get the correct bulbs, this video is accurate for the 2010 GMC Terrain as well.

I used this to replace my driver side brakelight on my 2006 Equinox. I was a bit worried pulling the assembly out as it was giving a lot of resistance and I though I was going to destroy it. Once that was out, it was a piece of cake.

Nice video. Any idea why my upper bulb does not light with the brake? It is fine as a taililight only, I see that both filaments of the bulb appear intact. When I brake 3 of the lights appear bright 2 on the right and only 1 on the left the lower. The 2007 vehicle came with a tow bar, with light unit plug-in. Thanks!

My brake light on the passenger side turns off when I step on the brake . I changed out the bulb and it still turn off when I brake . Drivers side is working perfectly fine

those lights are easy... lol.. try the front lights !!! omg... haha.. you have to remove the silver thing in front of them.. what I have problem to replace are the license plate lights... the cover it doesn't came off !!..

Hello,which one are the brake lights bulbs? I bought a set of 2 at autozone. Is it 2 bulbs for each sides?

Wish you would have told which bulb was the "Brake" etc...
The top corners won't stay in damnit. I guess they need new clip/cap plugs thing. Anyone else have a problem with this?

You should inform equinox car owners to disconnect the battery first to avoid blowing a fuse prior to installing a new bulb in tail light, that is what happened to me, and my car shut down and would not start!
