i got the REAL DEAL kit from them last year with a 7.5hp electric pressure washer. the system works great. i am very happy with it. does it foam like a foam cannon pretty close. i dont put much weight in the gotta have a lot of foam. the touchless wash works great and saves me time. thats what i bought it for and it works.
Hey Karl , I couldnt agree more! I would be up grading to the real deal kit IF I GET that side job I'm trying to get. This Silencer kit would work fine as well. IM VERY PLEASED with this system! I'm with you on EXCESSIVE foam. To me it's mostly "SHOW" anyway! Thanks for watching and Take Care!!
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa I can relate man. Our Farm has shrank considerably over the years. Only 1 each now and 1 African Gray Parrot. 🤣gotta Love Critters... Take Care Martin!
Great video sir and thank you for your service. I’m a mobile detailer here in Fresno and I just cannot see how the system would ever be efficient for mobile detailers specially when you’re running out of a van or trailer. You would have to stabilize the gallon or whatever size soap in a stationary spot with no cap on it and hope it doesn’t spill when you’re driving around. Also it’s never really a good idea to run soap through your whole system when you don’t have to. For example you’re in the sun and your spray in the car down with water, then you have to turn on the foam by switching the tip wait for it to come through the system and the hose and then you have to switch back over and wait for that soap to run out of the system to get clean water again. I think it’s cool but it takes no more than one minute to put 4 ounces of soap in a foam cannon and fill the rest with water if you have your rig set up efficiently. I hope this doesn’t come out wrong it’s not a knock it’s just not practical for day-to-day usage as a mobile auto detailer. Keep up the great videos hopefully I’ll see you at mirror finish one day
Hey there I Love it when people have a system that works. I'm not offended. I'm not set up great for the injector. If I had a more powerful unit I find it more efficient. The way it would be best is with the Foam lance as well. It's a simple quarter turn and it's on water. It takes about 15 seconds to flush back to clear water. Also, this does not run through anything. Its Post pump, so just the hose. If your system works, stick to it . I was just configuring a more convenient way to do rigs. Another thing, there is a specialty lid you can get to keep on the gallon to keep from spilling, or use a 5 gallon jug in a dedicated location with restraint. Whatever works better for the individual is what you have to use. I appreciate your opinion and thanks for watching. Take care!!
@@detailit Honestly you make a great point though I didn’t think about the fact that it’s post unit. That does change things a little bit and the fact that it’s 15 seconds to clear the hose. Both of those do make it more convenient. I just prefer thicker foam probably for all the same reasons most people do other than luxe I don’t really care how it looks I prefer soap that clings specially for Mobile working in Fresno the sun is crazy so the longer the soap stays on the paint the less I have to worry about water spots. I do run with deionized water but still it’s best practice not to let water or soap dry. It is a fact though that soap does not leave water spots water does so if you have to let something dry let the soap dry. Have a good day brother I look forward to watching more videos
Mr Richard .. how my East Coast friend? Hey Richard, this would be SIK with a more powerful machine. It's fine with this machine and only gets Better with more psi and Flow.. Thanks for watching my brotha! Btw, did Chem-X ever email You?
@@detailit that is a minimum requirement for it to work good. Also, Chem X designs their products to work with cold water. Hot water can actually hinder some of the products. However, it is great to pre-rinse with hot water if possible as well as final rinse. Just not when applying the soap.
Hey thanks for the interaction! I reached out to Bob Hoyle, President of Chem-X. He said you can expect double the performance if you add hot water while using his soaps. Keep the thermostat at 140 or under is what he advised. Enjoy, take care!
@@detailit oh ok, Nate from there advised me differently lol. Maybe that was just one soap he was referring to. But hot water does always help for sure from my experiences, especially on any kind of greasy or salty situation. Thanks and take care 👍
Thanks for sharing this. I'm sure it has its place in the industry. I'd be curious to see some other soaps ran through it as well to see what type of foam you'd get and how much was used.
Hey D/D... I feel it has a ton to do with the pressure washer. Checkout Chem-X channel on RUclips. His machine takes very little soap. With the right machine and wand, this would be a time saver for fleet wash or wash n wax guys. I'm with ya... it has its place. Thanks as always for Checking it Out! Have a good one; take care!
i see many problem with chemical injector that does not make sense for many 1. chemical runs through both hose and gun and there are risk of chemical compatibility. 2. once chemical is siphoned and mixed you lose product. the longer the hose the more product youll waste 3. not all chemical injector can dilute at high concentration and when improperly diluted makes chemical less effective 4. chemical injector have more moving part and more point of failure
I can see where you may THINK these points are valid. 1. There's no risk of soap or apc at 50:1-100:1 reacting with the gun or hose. 2. There is No product loss as this injector is usually ran at a dilution of 100:1. That's a GREAT dilution ratio. 3. I believe the orifice can be changed to increase or decrease the dilution making it very effective. 4. The injector has No Moving parts, literally.. Thanks for watching
