This song hits different from a Christian artist like TobyMac, most Christian artist don’t want to talk about personal topics due to controversy and they only want to make worship music about how great God is. So when somebody like Toby that is a Christian makes a song like this and talks about his relationship with his son and the sorry of his passing. It’s incredible. Tobymac is and will always be my favorite artist.

I remember when I first heard this song, I broke down crying cause I always and former love your music and through the many struggled we face in life. It's hard to accept and endure but through and by God, we get through this even, it's a difficult process. Thank you for sharing this song. This song speaks volumes to me. I lost my son who was 21 shortly before this song was released. I felt as though it was written to let me know my son is in God's arms. Thank you Toby for these beautiful words that expressed my feelings as well💕
We lost our son in August of 2019. Jordan was 6 weeks shy of his 19th birthday when the wreck occurred.

Losing a loved one , now, in these times, regardless of the circumstances surrounding their death...is God's way of declaring they're worthy of coming home now, without having to endure the prophecy to come.
Give Glory to God as tho they were ruptured.

God would never allow a death if the souls destiny was separated from God, He keep them here until the condition of their hearts worked out.

We as your fans are so sorry for your family's loss. This song comes from a place of deep pain and turmoil...this song I conbect with on a personal level. I and my two previous step- children lost my husband Tommy in 2012 and I connected with this pain...I have seen many things here on RUclips mocking your pain and I am familiar with Satans tactics to mock this pain. The refreshing thing about overcoming Satan's atracks is knowing who holds our FUTURE! We as believers have a Future thag God has already prepared for us! He placed the stars in the sky, he numbered all the hairs on our head, created all living creatures...his power is UNDENIABLE, then he can help us rebuild our lives after loss! Everything works for God's purpose! Thank you for reminding me that another can relate, and feel the overwhelming pain of loss no matter whom we lose! Thank you for your music, I am a huge fan! Your talk was from Florida, and was very anointed!. Hope you read this.
* 5 years ago my wife worked at one of Sydney's large city hospitals and one day was asked by her colleague to fill in for her to see a client called 'Richard'. Richard never showed for his consult, and in duty of care she phoned around for him. She was sadly informed later that day that Richard had taken his own life - (he had a bad cancer). My wife and her colleague immediately went into a quiet room and prayed for him his soul.
This was on Wednesday. On Saturday, I was in my kitchen at home and witnessed my wife receive a random phone call from her mother- (who she had not spoken to for 10 days). Her mother randomly asked her- " do you know someone called Richard?" She answered no initially, as she only knew that client who she never met. Her mother then said " I had a dream, and Richard asked me to tell you that he is okay and has been in Heaven for 3 days, he knows that you prayed for him, and said thankyou for praying for him".
So Toby, I'm a Christian since 14, and I swear on the bible & promise this occured exactly as ive written it. Her mother also lived 1200 km away in another state. There is only one way her mother could call her up with that specific information.!
I'm glad Richard went to her mother, because had he gone directly to my wife, it would have seemed that she just dreamed about work. But her mother? A straight as an arrow Christian woman, she calls a spade a spade. That dream is pretty special.
Hope you and your family are doing well- and I am certain you are bringing Glory to King Jesus. I really value ministries that can reach people through music- I think it's very special.
