Hi Dereck,I Always feel at home when i watch your video's.I Find your company always very comforting and it is good to have a bond in music obsession and education which i don't find in my daily life.Just an example for how i'm going to spend my 4 days off:I Just bought a huge tome of Jimi Hendrix complete songs book in my local store and i'm going to consume it with the sadly late great Manual Gottsching discography download on my headgear.I Find myself on a krautrock vibe recently and its a good place to be.Have a very enjoyable good xmass my friend and thanks for another fine year in music and art.

What a great record; we have an OG. But also OGs of Eddie Hazel Game Dames and Guitar Thangs, Funkadelic S/T, Earth Wind & Fire S/T, Osmium (my favorite what a trip). And others. Love funk. Aprils favorite is probably Maggot Brain. Always looking for examples but don't really see too much outside of Parliament and Funkadelic we enjoy as much. A cloud of its own. So you really seem to be in a different groove here. Dig it. Keep Groovin.

@dereckvon I don't know. Maybe it's because I have a lot of records that I never listened to yet because I don't have the patients to. And maybe because when I was little my father always made me wait for everything I asked him for, and he always used to say he was tired.
@EoLoVoX I especially love Strange Stairway from the Bill Fay album. I can't help enthusing about Mythos! 4 Men with Beards do such a fantastic job on their reissues.
Dig It is one of my favourite Klaus Schulze records, Didn't like it at first because it has a beat, and I was used to his more ambient style, but it is a grower and very atmospheric.

A friend of mine picked up Standing On The Verge Of Getting It ON(4 Men) and said it sounded great, so I definitely gotta check that label out.. But yeah Maggot Brain. essential! I still have my original Westbound copy but would love to have a nice reissue as well. And they're very reasonably priced.
Nothing worse than finding a record you've been after, but the cover is beat, the vinyl looks trashed or an insert, god forbid is missing. I think i'm picky like Mr. RecordMan1958! ;)
Seeing your 7" of Steven Wilson and PT poster in another clip as well as your healthy taste in ambient and off the beaten path music, I would assume you're well aware of Bass Communion? :)
